Good news, John! I ordered mine from Vorshlag. Had to wait 8 weeks before they were mounted.
  6. Ford Racing Touring Cat-back Exhaust (Pics & Video)

I've noticed occasional short spells of droning. Today there was none when I tried to find it. It's gotten a little raspier in the high end since you rode with me. It sounds better to my ears after 1000 miles. If you can find an excuse to drive down highway 7 past Eatonville, you'll hear all...
  7. TPMS sensor lead time.

Old tires must be deflated. The sensors are part of the air valve and must be removed.
  8. Maxim write-up - The Ford Mustang That Earned A V8

The pics show a 50th AP on the car without the corral on the grill. Mine came the same way. What up?

Forgestar CF5's, Piano Black - 19x10 (X4) Michelin Pilot AS/3 285X40X19 (X4) I'll get more photos when it's clean again, 375 miles yesterday. We went from Lake Stevens to Longview and back, without using I-5. I was surprised to learn that Highway 7 is carved into the side of the mountains, down...

  11. Maxim write-up - The Ford Mustang That Earned A V8

My friend Bob and I have been out co-driving my GT. I've outfitted the car with a square 285x40x19 Pilot A/S3 tire set up and went looking for mountain roads. We have found some very challenging roads, clinging to the side of mountain cliffs, and used the V8 and MT82 to just drive down the road...
  12. Now that it's been a minute...what are your opinions of the S550 Exterior Design?

LOL, of course it is. The parts racket is home to all manner of scum and villainy.

zackmd1, do you have a part number for that grille?
  14. Now that it's been a minute...what are your opinions of the S550 Exterior Design?

The dealer can't ask Ford "fix" something that isn't a "misbuild", which is something inconsistent with the build sheet. Right now, parts are essentially nonexistent, since they aren't in the catalogs yet. I'll get the grille, eventually, whether I buy it or my dealer decides to go to bat for...
  15. Now that it's been a minute...what are your opinions of the S550 Exterior Design?

I got a TY GT M6 50AP. Everything was there except the corral. I contacted the dealer, who pulled the build list for my VIN. Sure enough, it has the 50AP and the corral was not included, per the build sheet. The car is correct to the build sheet, 50AP w/o the corral. I suspect it was a...

  17. Now that it's been a minute...what are your opinions of the S550 Exterior Design?

Every few years, the Mustang has been dragged thru the design department and updated to whatever the designers think is current. The Mustang II, the Foxbody and the New Edge were all appropriate for their era and shared design features with other Ford products. There could be any number of...
  18. Now that it's been a minute...what are your opinions of the S550 Exterior Design?

As my German immigrant neighbor said: "It's beautiful, und shtill a Mustang." The rear end looks like it's crouching. It's not, but it looks low. If I could drop just the nose, I would. Somebody mounted 19" on the front and 20" on the back and it looked..."right".
  19. TPMS sensor lead time.

The tire shop reused my original sensors on my new tires, today. Everything works like it should. They required a service kit, o-rings, etc.
