I've had my 2015 V6, Auto, 051A Premium, w/ GT 18" Foundry wheels and Spoiler paid $23,000 after $5700 with trade in and veterans discounts ford offered, just at 2 years ago and just turned 11,000 miles and having it running just the way I want it. With $800.00 in mods, K&N drop in stock big...
I only use S mode and paddle shift, in the 2 years I've had my 2015 V6 I never put it in D mode. I also installed the SCT 93 tune which allow me to program the shifting firmness from factory to +25% which shifts very quick and firm.
zackmd1, were did you get the Custom Stainless steel Cold Air Intake and did it come with the attaching rubber collars, will it connect to a stock air box?
Thanks
1. you need to plug the tuner into the ECU plug on the left side of your steering wheel under the dash, then your see the instructions.
2. follow the instructions, it will probably tell you to down load your stock progam.
3. then upload which ever tune you like, check the menu to see if...
I have the Ford Tower Brace on my 2015 V6 for over a year with NO problums, when I installed it to get clearence off the intake manifold I used rubber washers under it and they gave me just enough plus dampened any harmonic sound.
I just installed a breather on the drivers side oil filler. My question is the top hose from the valve cover to the air intake hose what it's function and should I remove it and plug the openings.
Thanks
NO, I've had a JLT oil separator for over a year and the most I had was 1/4 of the can at about 3000 miles. The oil separator only catches the oil under long high RPM's runs.
I've had a SCTx4 direct from SCT since last Feburary I'm very pleased with it. It has a 87, 91 & 93 tunes, you also can program the menu for RPM's limits from idle to redline and if your a auto the shifting firmness from factory to +25% which is really nice. You can go on there web site and down...
I have mine set at +25% 1st thru 5th for almost a year with NO problum. When you set your shifting firmness it only shift firm and crisp under a high RPM load, if you drive in D or S under normal loads it will shift like factory. I only drive in S and paddle shift up and down. I got on mine the...
After reading the above threads that's why I bought a SCTx4 preloader 93 from SCT direct. I had other tuners in the past. I can program my menu for RPM's from idle to redline and auto shifting firmness from factory to +25% which in D or S driving normal hits shifting points the same however...
I have 2 questions.
1. Deleting the PCV from the drivers side just remove it from the valve cover and intake air breather hose and plug? Also were do I get the chrome breather to replave the PCV.
2. When replacing the thermostat with a Reische 170 can you use the same gasket?
I only drive in S and I paddle shift all the time, I only down shift to 2nd at a low speed. I also have a SCTx4 93 tuner that allows me to program the shifting firmness from factory to a +25% which I have done from 1st thru 5th it shifts very chisp and firm with no slippage.
K&N drop on stock...
Mark, I disagree with you on the not needing a PedalMAX if you get a tuner. Believe it or not you still have lag with just the tuner. The tuner and pedalMAX work independent from each other. The tuner programs throttle response at the ECU, the pedalMAX increase response at the throttle body they...
I'd get a tuner and depending on what want in a turer? I have a SCTx4 from SCT.com direct. I like the fact I could program the menu RPM's from idle to redline and if you have a automatic increasing the shifting firmness from factory to +25%. The difference between a tuner and PedalMAX as far as...
