  1. CALLING 2020 GT500 Owners. What’s your best 0-60.

Thanks, KB! I did use launch control at either 1400 or 1600 RPM I think (it's been a few months). It was probably my 4th or 5th attempt when I achieved my best. The previous attempts were all 3.8 and like one 3.9. No burnouts, just warm tires from each of the runs. I really need to find a good...
  2. CALLING 2020 GT500 Owners. What’s your best 0-60.

3.7 for me, and this was on a nasty back road. The car was 100% stock at the time.
  3. GT500 Supercharger Whine

I can tell you that just adding the 1320 Junkie WD152 CAI significantly increases the supercharger sound. Under heavier acceleration, I can hear her nicely now from the cabin, whereas before I could not hear it at all.
  4. GT500 vs C8 Corvette Z51 drag and roll race.

Wonder why they ran the 500 in Normal mode? There's a world of difference between the modes on the 500. Can't tell the mode for the C8.
  5. Twister Orange GT500 pictures

    Thanks man!
  6. Twister Orange GT500 pictures

Here’s the original roller shot that I used.
  7. Twister Orange GT500 pictures

KB, I used a bunch of different photoshop lightning brushes in conjunction with some lighting effects like outer glow and color overlays to create the effect.
  8. Twister Orange GT500 pictures

Here’s a fun desktop wallpaper image I whipped up using a roller of my Twister Orange 500. Enjoy!
  9. Oil Pressure Question

I can say that it's refreshing that so far, this engine does not use a drop of oil. Whereas my 350 used at least a quart or more between oil changes. My oil pressure also runs between 25 and 30 when warm and idling.
  10. Baby needs its first bath, lessons learned?

Griots Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax. It's a hybrid ceramic, but is definitely idiot proof and works very well. The application was very easy.
  11. Baby needs its first bath, lessons learned?

So far, the 3-1 is amazing. I've only had it on for about 2-3 weeks, so we'll see how it lasts long term. But I was very impressed with it. I too use their Best of Show wax. I'll be applying that a few times a year on top of the ceramic. I also use their interior and glass cleaner, plus their...
  12. Baby needs its first bath, lessons learned?

Definitely should decontaminate before doing a ceramic coating for sure.
  13. Baby needs its first bath, lessons learned?

I use Griots products exclusively, including their 3-in-1 hybrid ceramic wax which gives phenomenal, long lasting results. Car always looks wet, even after a 250 mile road trip (pictured below). It even rained on us during that same trip. The hydrophobic qualities are superb. Their rinseless...
  14. 1320Junkie WD152 Intake

Definitely painted in Twister Orange to match!
  15. 1320Junkie WD152 Intake

You beat me to it. Lol! I just came to post that picture. Looks good!
  16. 1320Junkie WD152 Intake

Valid point indeed, KB. Performance it is! That was easy. lol
  17. 1320Junkie WD152 Intake

There's a color dropdown option. You note the color you want in the order comments. I am so torn between this and the JLT. I like that this one is color matched, but don't like the design otherwise. I am a visual guy, as well as want the best performance numbers. I definitely trust Steve's...
  18. Transmission thump/clunk

I have noticed this same behavior. I go longish periods of time driving the car like a decent human being. Then, I surprise it and drive it like I stole it and it takes some time to re-adjust. I think the solution is to always drive it like you stole it. That way...it's just ready. lol!
  19. The how many miles on your new Ride GT500 thread.

Nearly 1200 glorious miles on mine now. The best 1200 miles of my life!
  20. 2020 GT500 vs Redeye Drag Racing StangMode vs Mod2fame

I would certainly think so. At these power levels, tire and traction is everything.
