Well that design has been stock in EU Mustangs since 2015
To be honest every time @Twin Turbo has pointed out the covered dash I have been looking for several minutes and cannot see what he sees
I just think that the angles of the two pictures is different. The first picture taken...
It should be safe to use at every oil change if you want to, however Ceratec recommend at every 30.000 miles right after oil change should be good enough.
I'm planning on driving my car as it is and in case the tick comes I will try this out
Yeah keep me updated and also come back if you want further info.
I don't know if you can use it for anything but I just did a test on my taillights and this is the result:
BLACK: GND
RED: Turn signal
YELLOW: Brake light
GREEN: Tail light
BLUE: No effect - I think it might be a signal line...
Good! I was about to offer you my harness for just the shipping but great that you've gotten your hands on a set! :like:
I've taken a picture of my plug and there is a lot of difference compared to yours!
Take note that this is of the plug coming from the taillight and not the adapter plug, so...
I don't know if you've ordered specific for a US car, but if your car is US then the adapters shouldn't be needed - however you should have gotten the yellow wires with the set, which is shown in the picture "Plug & Play. No Rewiring. These are for connecting the 3rd brakelight.
There is no 3rd...
I'm waiting for my 2020 GT PP in Magnetic with black roof and PP spoiler
It is going to be named Nightfury
And yes - it is from the movie How to train your dragon - I love those movies even though I'm 30
That's an interesting solution!
Can you yank it down hard enough for the boot to close without having issues with the plastic cover from the locking mechanism falling of?
@MaskedRacerX Yeah I figured that when I searched for the pins
The issue is that I'm located in Denmark and either they are stupid expensive or the taxes and shipping is. Thanks anyway! :like:
I ended up ordering this set from China...
@Scooter MGee That is great info, Thanks a lot!
About the size - if you're able to figure it out it is fantastic but yeah if it is sitting too good then no worries! I can see in the #1 post that the hole is a bit larger than a M6 bolt so that gives me an idea of the size.
I might buy a couple...
@Scooter MGee - Could you throw an update on how yours is holding up?
I have a few questions about your setup also
1. What is the diameter of the pushpin you used?
2. When you use the pull strap - do you just pull it down and close the boot by pressing on the trunk lit or do you yank the...
@Vlad Soare - Yeah you're right - mine got the final delivered status on June 29th where it arrived at Newark.
I've read some places that while on the boat it can be tracked if you find the company and the car's VIN should be the tracking number... however I haven't figured this out yet.
As my...
@Vlad Soare - Take it easy. It will change in a couple of days probably! :like:
When mine got produced on June 22nd it had an ETA date on August 8th and I had the same reaction as you. But the first date is just a dice throw untill it has been assigned transport (I assume yours is also convoy...
I stand corrected then :like: I've just seen some say they've used it as a pull strap. I can still recommend the thread though!
How did you make yours? and for how long did it last?
I assume you're talking about the yellow plastic clip as the one that is broken... In that case - it is not a pull strap and probably why it is broken - it is an emergency release for the trunk lock so you canopen it form inside
About the good pull down strap - take a look at this topic in DIY...
I'm pretty sure that it is an 2020 ecoboost - I've attached a picture where you clearly see the horizontal lines, and I think the 3rd lhorisontal line is at same level as the painted part before splitter. :like:
Also the bodycoloured part. I think it looks like it is missing due to the car is...
@GR1MBLE
I can't speak for Rinz and Fast but I agree with them on people seems just to be adding splitters and ending up with a car that looks like a staircase on the front.
Yours it perfect in my opinion! One splitter to make flat to the ground and removal of the side pieces with the wheel...
@GregP27 and @Elp_jc
I tried looking for a thread too with pads but didn't find anything useful.
However one thing is safe to say... Ceramic brakes! It produces little to no dust and when there finally is dust it is easy to clean.
I don't know about brands and this also depends how you drive...
I think it is like the we-all-know type of people who has these rats they try to convince us is a chihuahua...
The Mustang attracts a certain type of people and being in a price range that is affordable to many people - and also those who doesn't know that 1+1=2 and therefore doesn't think thst...
I've never had any luck with the Ford tracker, but I have experienced during nighttime and in weekends that the tracker can't find a result.
About the production date it is just the way it is. The only way you can get to know the estimated build date is from your dealer or if you get in touch...
