I can't imagine a bunch of old people plotting to remove lug nuts from a LEO's car because they don't like you. You must be living with a bunch of old dried up gang members and since you said it is a wealthy neighborhood. i doubt it.
Depending on their age, they might not even have the...
When did Saleen hire John Hennessey?
OP- Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Hopefully you get it resolved to your satisfaction.
Looks like Saleen has a team of crackheads assembling their cars. How could you cause that much damage slapping on some cosmetic pieces.
Absolutely, agree. Those items will definitely get things all back into place.
Interesting. I have done 2 air ride setups and 3 non-air setups and that method worked every time for me.
Just proves there is not one way always being the right way to do something. This is what makes this forum...
There are definitely different approaches to tackling a job.
Removing the exhaust hanger method will allow the one side you are working on to drop all the way down so you have plenty of room to remove and install the springs regardless of their overall length.
The biggest benefit doing this...
All this talk about pry bars and jumping up and down to get the rear springs out is not needed.
The whole reason people have issues with the rear springs is because they do not unhook the exhaust hangers( the ones in the middle of the car and the ones under the rear bumper).
Unhook those and...
notstok5.0 - I am going to attempt the height sensor install over the winter. Hopefully, I am successful. Your car is one badass ride. Looked so good at AM.
z06psi - You will be so happy with air. a year and a half later. I still love it as much as the day I installed it. Let any of us know if...
I think it is more of a marketing gimmick than anything and not worth the cost of the upgrade if that is all you want. I think I have tried it one time. It's not as cool as you just walk up to the car and hit the button on the app.
Couple things to remember.
1. Ignition has to be on at least...
The 3P and 3H is the exact same kit as far as the manifold, controller, bags are concerned. The only difference is the 3H is an additional wiring harness and the height sensors. Of course, more money for that harness and sensors.
You can buy the 3P kit and add the height sensors later or do...
I got my spacers from Amazon. It was something like $27 and I was surprised to find there were 4 spacers in the box.
And you do not need longer studs. There is plenty of threads with the factory studs for 5mm.
Underneath of that bolt on plastic is some heavily cut-up fenders. Otherwise the factory fender will be sitting right in the middle of those wide wheels.
Another great bit of information for anyone tracking down an elusive leak problem. :headbang:
There should be a sticky with all of the great information people have learned installing air ride.
Thanks for this invaluable information. These are the types of problems that will drive a person insane trying to resolve.
I have been lucky so far. The bags have been on the car for a year and a half and I have not had any issues.
I have a bad disease when it comes to cars. I can't leave them alone. I have to mod something.
Just one example. Back many years ago. I drove a brand new 10 miles on the OD Mazda truck off the lot straight to the garage and cut the roof off with a sawsall and installed a removable hard top kit...
