Im merely defending against the half truths that are being told. I truly want to learn about the Mustang (as I like what car drives the best and fits me best). Hell, thats why Im NOT in either damn car right now. I dont really like the Camaro styling but I really do like the driving position and...
Wow. 2011 Grand Am GT wins at races 5, 11 and 12 for the Stevenson #57. Do I need to post the 2012 results from Grand Am GT as well? Again, 3 wins for the Camaro. How many for the Mustang?
See, you like to pick the series that the Mustang is doing good in and try to sweep away the ones where...
Now, I know its on the dreaded Camaro but how many would like to see a HUD as an option? I've used one before and its rather sweet at night on a back country road because you can turn off all your interior lights and just use the HUD so you can really see the road great.
The T2 1LE was not manufactored sponsored. GM simply provided them with the 1LE bits early. You need to check your facts again. Nap left T2 to race in T1.
It doesnt matter if Katech builds them, in fact, I dont think they can touch them as it says STOCK LS3 for Grand Am. About the rulebook, I...
Well, lookie there a little truth.
And nope, GM is only allowed to have a stock LS3 in the engine bay just like the Mustang with its 302. That wasnt hard to find at all so why you assumed that Katech was building the LS3 I have no idea other than to try and slant the truth again.
Also...
Nope. Its not a restrictor plate but its a in line fuel restrictor.
And so what if Katech builds them. Doesnt Roush supply the engines for a lot of the Grand Am Mustangs?
Ass handed? It finished 3rd did it not? Again, if the Mustang had finished 3rd Im sure you would applaud its effort yet its the all hated Camaro finishing 3rd so it sucks and gets its ass handed to it. I hope you arent a parent and demand absolute perfection from your children. Nothing is ever...
Doesnt the Camaro have to run a quite large restrictor plate in one series? I cant think of it right now.
Again, the bold part is pot and kettle. Its so obvious that you dont see it.
Well, I did a little more digging and the 1LE T2 car hasnt attended because the driver has been racing in another class. Do we need to talk about the fact that the T2 1LE Camaro set the track record for Road America? Yea, its a piece of shit in engineering.
Was there a class for the Corvette...
Hey, you said the Camaro hasnt beat anything. :headbang:
Also, I just showed you where a T2 Camaro beat the Mustang in the class you were bragging about yet you come up with some sort of excuse as to how they couldnt break into the top ten so they dropped out. Sorry, where is the BS flag...
Of course the Camaro is an aging product. Thats even laughable to use as a point in an argument. Its based on Zeta which started work in 1999. I can just see you know proclaiming victory when the S550 comes out quietly wondering how an Alpha Camaro is going to fare against it.
So, the 1LE...
Pretty cool idea by Ford. Relive some of the old history. I wonder what they are going to skip over though. IE, what they consider a black eye for Mustang history.
Good job ignoring the important aspects. I suspect you are the kid at car shows that laughs at other car owners because they dont do what you think is right. I dont like the way the S197 looks in its early years but I dont go around telling their owners it looks like shit. I can respect that...
And more smoke out the fire I guess.
I guess its GM fault for building something that doesnt adhere to the rules. In fact, I think they have said they threw away the rules to build the best car that they want to build. Not build the best car to what someone else wants.
Look, I know you...
See, who cares if it races in SCCA?? You always bring that up. What if the owners just want to take it on the track for a fun run like MANY, upon, MANY 1LE owners do. You have it in your head that owners have to take it to a track, get in a sanctioned race to have fun. Well, you are pretty...
Thanks! I remember you too. I still talk to a few of the people on the sites but I just couldnt stand most of the new members. Sad days when I look back on it.
I think you might want to recheck your numbers. The Camaro just about outhandles every version of the Mustang save for the V6 (and Im not sure they have been tested together now that the Camaro has had an update to it).
The 1LE is an awesome beast with its disappointing IRS and even more so...
