+ 1 on the Pilot Alpin - they are an amazing performance winter tire. Best choice for Winter Set-up. I had them on my Audi S5 prior to the 350R and loved them.
Also highly recommend the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1. For my 350R - I immediately removed the Mich PSC2 and put on the Coopers (only...
This is such a badass shot. Thanks for sharing with us! I really love the wider OTT stripes and you can also tell the difference in the quality of the painted stripes vs vinyl. Wish I could afford to do it on mine but will just have to accept being jealous of yours.
@slingblade I'm actually...
Agreed. I've never taken mine to the Ford dealer in NJ. Wouldn't trust them with this car at all. Would much rather spend a premium with a high-end shop I trust and not have to worry. Granted, I realize not everyone is in that position but I also knew going into this purchase it would be the...
Thanks. Guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and give it back. Hopefully the PPF isn’t too expensive to re-do. Based on everyone else comments it sounds like its more common than I thought. I glued it for now so at least it doesn't look like total crap or fall off while I’m driving.
Im...
Im not ripping on the dealer just the situation. I was simply frustrated at them for the fact that i had to go back 3 times for a single part and then they got it wrong. And when i originally submitted the claim - attempted theft didn't cross my mind - they were the ones that suggested it based...
Not sure if this has ever happened to anyone else. Thankfully they didn't succeed -- but the emblem was bent and the black plastic chipped.
Ford is going to replace it for me under new car warranty. Learned that the emblem isn't held by double-sided tape but is part of a single factory piece...
Worked. No more buzz. It also explains why when people upgrade to the MGW why the noise goes away completely. It's all about that lockout collar/spring.
Appreciate the info but my reverse works perfectly - the only thing is in second gear at high revs it rattles from the lockout mechanism. Going to do the autofanatic fix - I'm confident that will work.
After doing some more research. Its 100% the lockout mechanism for reverse. If you grab the lockout mechanism while you are in 2nd (where mine occurs) and pull it up- it goes away. After watching his video he talks about this so thats what im going to try.
I have the same exact problem. Same exact car. I'm thinking about having my shop do the autofanatic fix but I'm also not thrilled with reviews I've read on the MGW shifter. I'm sure some people can live with it but it annoys me. Any update on your end?
Curious if you are running the CF rims how the 295/305 would be better than 305/325 for the PS4S.? Was Randy Pobst the pro driver?
When I put on the Cooper's there was no evidence of tramlining at all. I never drove with the Cup 2's on but was told by this forum that the car still moved...
Call Xineering ask for Ken. They programmed mine and works great. It's diff than autoblip as it doesn't have dial controls it's all set through their main unit using my computer. I can set the blip % and duration. And since we have the same car they have a baseline (assuming they have done...
Honestly, I can't compare them to the PSC2 as I had them taken off right when the car was delivered- so I could sell them. I do love the way the car drives now and I did do my homework with the 305 square and there is no real difference from the 315 rear. Although the only downside I recently...
I'm running a 305 square setup with the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 - based in New Jersey and love them so far . They are also all-weather high performance- so you can drive them hard in the summer. Very quiet as well- maybe it's the CF wheels but there is no NVH either. Not sure why more people don't...
If you don't have PPF on the car then I would say yes this is highly recommended. Most professional details use it as its a touchless way to dry and the drying process is where you get a lot of scratches. The only thing that surprised me w/ the other brand Metro Master Blaster was the air...
First isn't this a 350 forum in a thread talking about opinions on R long term value? I doubt anyone but GT350 owners care or want to discuss their own thoughts. Plus, didn't I say the classics will be the first to be affected and that's a car that I would love to have?
