I agree that we can't expect values to skyrocket but what I do think is interesting is the press Ford put out recently to be all electric in Europe by 2030. If that truly happens then I think these cars might rise faster than we think. The R models (especially the heritage) will be 100K+ in...
Epic!! Congrats!! Thank you for documenting and sharing with the group.
And last - thank you for your service! (By your icon I assume you are a Cobra Pilot - I'm a USAF WSO so wanted to give you a shout out).
I'm in Weehawken, NJ - where are you? Have seen some regular 350's but never an R in all the years I've been driving in North/Central Jersey. Also kept the CF wheels on but went with 305 square Cooper RS3-G1's All-Seasons. Very happy with them so far as I drive it almost every weekend...
I'm going to say this again. The top stripes are absolutely incredible. The depth of the color and the width of the stripe just makes the car look so much meaner. Congrats. The sides I would have done like the original R below but that is irrelevant because the top looks so good. Can't wait to...
If you forced me to choose I would say #1 but I'm not into the heritage or heritage edition label. I do like the revised lettering though. Just go bigger on the G. T. 350 like the real 66.
The front stripes are absolutely killer. Jealous - the wider stripes should have been done this way from the factory. The side stripes I personally feel like it is off-center somehow (think I liked it back towards the tire/quarter panel better) but still looks amazing overall.
The best solution (for me at least) was to get the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 All-Season's and I am extremely impressed with them so far. I have an R - so running 305 square as they don't have a 315 size. Since I got the tire in Oct and live in NJ it has gone through pouring rain in 40 degree temps...
Since it's so damn cold out in NJ when I didn't drive it for 2 weeks it says it was conserving battery (on the dash instead of the Snake logo coming up) . Is that the same that you are getting? I feel like if the car is brand new the battery shouldn't have to be replaced. Once I drove it for a...
100% agree if they would have followed with the blue interior badging and stitching throughout - it would have made it so much better. You know why they didn't do it though. They took the stock seats from the 18's and threw that in the HEP with the 19's getting the red lining. This way they...
Ah good to know. I didn't think you could take the rear's from 315 to 295. The only thing I don't like about the CF wheels is they are a pain in the butt to clean. Not sure who came up with that white material in the front but I do the best I can without taking the rim off.
Alpin PA4's are amazing but they don't make them in the GT350R sizes. I'm in NJ and was forced to take off the PSC2 for Cooper Zeon's RS3 (305 square set up) which I'm very happy with so far. I'm def the only HEP R in the state driving all-year round (with the CF wheels). Part of the reason I...
Curious if anyone is experiencing a high pitched noise (almost like a really fast rattle) when getting into the 6.5-8.2 RPM range. I thought it was my radar detector banging against the glass when the engine gets up to those high RPMs but it's doing it without it. Overall, the car is fantastic...
I love the wider stripes. It's amazing you are getting him to do this. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I respect the $$ commitment you are putting in to do this the right way.
