  1. daily driver tires a/s or summer

16 GT PP here as well, just went with the A/S 3 + in staggered PP sizes and they are fantastic. Where in the U.S. are you? I am in CO, and I will be selling my nearly new P Zeros and running the A/S 3+'s all year round, to me already they are a superior tire. The P Zeros were good in 70 + degree...
  2. How many winter drivers

First winter with the Mustang here in CO, just fitted Pilot Sport A/S3 + for the cold days. I won't be as hard core as you snow pony folks (have an FJ Cruiser with Blizzaks for that), but those P-Zeros as expected were dangerous in the cold. The A/S3's will allow me to extend the driving season.
  3. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ Review

I am buying AS3+'s next week, I can't have the Stang sitting all winter. I will not bring her out in snow or anything, I need all seasons for the temperature range really. I will be running them all year round here in CO, from reviews and other stories, they are great performers in the summer as...
  4. BEST mod for under $100

Thanks StangTime, that was the post I was looking for, I know in the other thread regarding the B&O sounding terrible, I mentioned cutting the center speaker and fading to the front passenger side. That thread is the one I used. I was so disappointed with the premium Shaker sound, but after...
  5. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

There are so many threads like this, and I will say here what I said in the others, if you like your ride, that is all that matters. Talking about racing at part throttle, and how a tuned RS will do this to X car, or an EB is a poor person's GT, etc. doesn't really matter. We are all car people...
  6. The MT82 gets a unfair bad rep...

I must have gotten a Monday morning MT-82, because I have zero issues with mine. Yes, it is a tad notchy when cold, but otherwise it has been a willing partner.
  7. MGW shifter

If it weren't for the lengthy install, I would definitely have an MGW. I love wrenching on cars, however the thought of dropping the transmission brace to access the unit, having to reassembly blindly (that nut above the trans that you can't see), etc. really has steered me away from it. If I...
  8. S550 GT operating temperature

Mine gets to 221 or so, then the fans kick on, bring it to 195 - 200, repeat. I believe 220 is the best temp for carbon burn off, and the CHT is designed to reach that before cooling off with the fans.
  9. Michigan 1990 Taurus SHO - Excellent condition

Super clean, GLWS! Those Yamaha intake runners are still one of the best looking under hood scenes out there.
  10. What Car Wash Wax Products are you using I like the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax

I use Collinite 845 as the base wax, then Meguiars Synthetic Spray wax in the gallon jug for maintenance. I have tried the hybrid ceramic wax, but I didn't apply it correctly and it streaked pretty bad. I will give that another shot soon using the proper technique, because a lot of people swear...
  11. Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L High Performance Package Priced at $4,995

Everyone has their reasons for why they bought a particular car, again we definitely shouldn't be ripping into people's choices and saying "your X sucks, and Y is so much better, you should have bought Y instead of X". Every manufacturer also has their issues, BMW included, so no one is spared...
  12. Borla xs pro

I run them, my thread may be of some help to you: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/tomorrow-the-new-custom-exhaust-goes-on-fingers-crossed.125289/ I had Flowmaster 40's that were on the Mustang when I bought it, and they droned horribly, along with a resonator delete / H-pipe. I am now...
  13. 2020 EcoBoost High Performance Package, 330 HP / 350 LB-FT, 0-60 mid 4's [Updated With Video]

Well, just looking forward to real testing, as right now this is all hypothetical. Just for another reference, the Focus RS runs 0-60 in 4.5 seconds with launch control, AWD traction, 350HP / 350TQ and 100lbs less weight, so this will be some feat of engineering for the EBPP to run that same...
  14. 2020 EcoBoost High Performance Package, 330 HP / 350 LB-FT, 0-60 mid 4's [Updated With Video]

So, as a disclaimer, if the EBPP performs as well as a 2015-2017 GT, that is fine with me. However, something doesn't add up. From a physics standpoint, the 2015 GT PP1 runs a 4.4 0-60 with 435HP / 400 ft lbs. If this EBPP runs a 4.5, then there must be at least 410 HP accounting for the 200lb...
  15. Today’s car guys vs yesterdays car guys?

41 here and do all maintenance on our 3 vehicles. Our 2008 FJ cruiser has zerks that allow the driveshaft U-joints and slip joints to be services with automotive grease every 1500 miles, and if you skip it, the Toyota rear end "thunk" happens. None of the dealers ever do it. I have the Fumoto...
  16. Found one!! PP1 or not

It is a nice spoiler for sure! Personally I love the spoiler delete, the tail looks awesome wingless in my opinion.
  17. Getting A Little Nervous Driving This Thing

My Mustang is a third car, and I still worry about it. It is funny, because being a used car, it had a few paint blemishes, etc., but I am always concerned about it, and worry about hail out here in CO. My wife says "it's just a car" and I get that, but damn it looks so good I don't want...
  18. Question on trading with a tuned car and separate question on base pp1

I agree with NoVaGT, if you are going to jump, you have to make it count by getting Magneride. Edit: and 301A, it is worth it.
