Your problem is not your Procharger. With my new motor and killer tune with D1 and headers, it's a nasty bitch. And I'm going e85 soon.
And last, you shouldn't have to hit 6500rpms to feel the power difference. Even at half throttle my car is a beast.
They provide like 47# injectors with the stage 2 Rousch. No way you should be running out of fuel. No way. A basic P1 with headers should have you around 575whp and 480wtq as a guess. If you are coming from NA, that's a 200whp increase.
I'll tell you a story. I installed my D1 with Lund tune...
Just an update the ringlands on both cylinders were intact, but as soon as the piston came out, they just crumbled. No cylinder scoring. Anyway I had a new short block installed for free. Don't ask.
If I were you, I would buy a decent 5 channel amp. With the 5 channel you can run your interior and a sub so that might be best for a simple install.
Just to clarify, I said Tesla does not have an amp output. It has a 4 channel ouput for an interior amp. It does not have a sub output.
As...
If you want to upgrade, the first thing you need are two amps and I would suggest two 10" subs. First, install an interior amp. This will get you more power. The stock speakers are not horrible with more power. I am running all 9 interior speakers from a 4 channel amp and sounds pretty good. The...
Hi 10s seems a little slow for 800 crank hp, or probably 700whp. NA guys are running high 10s with 200whp less. Not saying it's horrible, I just think it should be running 9s with that power with the 6r80 and stall. What were the 60 foot times?
Damn, you all are crazy to pay that for install. It's really not that hard. Even if you messed something, it would still be cheaper to do it yourself. Plus you will actually learn something. Use the money save for a fuel system or something else.
Worst case if you are not sure of something, just hit us up here or on Facebook. You can do it. Take your time, read instructions, and watch videos. It's really not that hard.
Install it yourself. It's not that hard. Use the money saved to buy some tools or a fuel system or headers. I have saved so much money doing things myself. Sometimes I make mistakes, but I always learn from them.
And one last tip. Don't try installing OPGs and crank sprocket with two people...
I'm running a Stage 2 D1 Procharger, Exedy Stage 3 clutch, Pypes headers. I have a Sai Li fuel system sitting in my garage. I will be installing in the spring to run e85. Even right now, the car is insane. I honestly have no desire to drive a stock GT. They are slooooow.
Anyway, I would advise...
I think Whipple makes more low end. But honestly, unless you have a built motor the D1 can easily max out a stock bottom end. I'm waiting for the next redesign to go all out. Maybe 2020. Right now I'm D1, Pypes headers, Exedy clutch, and going to install the Sai Li fuel system that is sitting my...
Killer setups guys. Where did you get the pipe to add the Tial BOV? Also, do you just weld the wastegate to the IC and send it, or do you have to adjust it? I would love to do this but I don't know where to start. Any input would be really appreciated.
Thanks
I actually got phonelink working. I saw a video from Patrick Henninger to use Dev Tools to bypass the dev pin. However, I still want to get phonelink working with wifi but not sure how that works.
The problem with USB phonelink is that when in mirror mode, you can't turn your phone screen off...
Has anybody got Android Auto or Mirrorlink to work with the Tesla. It is asking for a Developer password which I do not have. Does anybody have this password or instructions to get Android Auto to work.
Thanks.
