Strangely enough, Edmunds allows build and price of the GT Convertible with the Performance Package. Do they know something?
  3. PP + Covertible??

EB with PP brakes are the base brakes for the 5.0 , so the non PP GT is already starting off with better brakes. Also these are equivalant to last years Brembo brake package. I too am dissaponted the convertible is not offered with the PP.
  4. Ecoboost Chrome tag on the car

If you're so embarrassed to drive the EB, save up and get the GT. jeez.
  5. Hoping for AWD in the future

If the core Mustang buyer is alienated - a clear possibility should things like AWD or electric motor assist be incorporated - you might as well retire the Mustang name and go with something more appropriate . . . like, say, "Probe II". Norm This is an informed, insightful assesment of...
  6. Hoping for AWD in the future

Don't forget IRS in '99 Cobra, '00 Cobra R, and 01 Cobra. All naturally aspirated.
  7. GUARD S550 MUSTANG Thread

Must see in person. It looks significantly green on the Ford configurator. Hope it is.

  9. Hoping for AWD in the future

Are you referring to the X6M? Mustang, Camaro equating to STI, Evo.... good, or bad, like or not... not the same type. They come from very different places.
  10. Hoping for AWD in the future

Sorry..... Will Not Happen... IRS, 4 cylinder, nothing to do with AWD First Mustang had a 6 cylinder, Ford didn't have a 4 at the time, 1974 Mustang II had a 4. 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004 Cobras had IRS. Need traction in the winter, get snow tires. AWD is marketing hype...
  11. Canadians getting their cars first?

This could very well be true. The first 1964 Mustang was sold in Canada. http://www.freep.com/assets/freep/pdf/C4202792323.PDF http://v8passion.com/en/news-vehicules-v8-passion-magazine/first-mustang-ever-produced-sold-in-canada/
  12. Hoping for AWD in the future

I think it's safe to say the Mustang will Never be an AWD vehicle. I guess the assertion is pretty much of the 20, and 30 somethings. Ridiculous.

Thanks, this makes the most sense.
  15. Eco boost sound

Yes, I doubt the SVO name would be used. Not many of the SVO's were sold, pretty much a marketing failure. I expect Ford will sell boatloads of EB Stangs.
  16. Anyone From Old BlueOvalNews Forum?

This was about the '99 Cobra not producing the advertised horsepower... Blue Oval was started by a Ford employee.

  18. Anyone From Old BlueOvalNews Forum?

Back when the 1999-01 Cobras came out. What a place to argue, and get good info. Was probably the most popular Mustang Cobra site at that time. Anyone remember?
  19. Eco boost sound

Another interesting point is the SVO was the top of the line most expensive Mustang during those years.
