I called QA1 to get info and order, but they refered me to CJ Pony Parts for the purchase. It really is a great upgrade, so don't write it off just because QA1 didn't answer the emails. They impressed me that they are interested in manufacturing (they also make suspension products) not...
Zero vibration. Not faster than triple-digits. I was initially hesitant to fork out the cash, but know I think these cars should have come with this driveshaft. Itās worth the weight savings and reduction of bucking and vibration.
I have one on my R. The quality is awesome. It eliminiates the bucking when off-throttle at slow speeds and all-but-eliminates drivetrain vibration. I didn't note a difference to rev/throttle response (the JMS Pedalmax fixed that). I highly recommend getting one.
Not too much different now in the T-38C. 12,800# at start, so rotation now starts at 145. We shoot for 7.5 degree deck angle by a 165 knot takeoff. FAS for 60/100% flaps is 150 knots plus fuel (160 min] and 165 plus fuel for a no-flap final (175 knots min). BTW, I retired from Sheppard AFB as an...
In 2012, I bought my 1991 NSX, in San Antonio, from Dr. John Labra. He was a former Marine and two-tour Vietnam veteran. As a former F-16 pilot in the AF, I was interested in his experiences and awed by his stories and perspectives of ground combat in SEA. My NSXPrime (and now this forum) avatar...
Tflong...DO NOT sell your car to a dealer! FYI, I paid $66.2K (via consignment sale) for my '16 R with 7,500 miles on the ODO and I knew I got a great deal. Your car is easy worth what you're asking. I'd buy yours, and have two, if I had the spare cash.
So what did you find out? My Voodoo is making the same noise after warmed up, if shut down for approx. 30 mins and restarted. Rattle eminates from the pass-side front and lasts for approx. 2 secs. Local Ford tech says its an oil leak from a timing chain tensioner so the sound stops once the...
Installed the latest version on the Pedalmax last night. No need to disconnect the battery or install the 12V connection. Unplug, plug, plug and secure...a no-brainer (mine is a '16). Used the 60% option first, just for reference. Then unpluged the pin for 100%. Definitely a difference in...
I like the cylinder head temp called up on the cluster. The dash's oil temp and pressure gauges are money, too. Always checking to make sure those needles stay pointed near 12 o'clock.
Driven with both. The sofa seats are comfy (not alcantara, though... more like a high quality miko suede). The only leather bit is where the "GT 350" logo is stamped. The bolster area wears very fast. I had my dealership photograph the wear I encountered within a few weeks of ownership...
Ad labels it as a base model. If so, no magneto shocks or tranny/diff coolers. Iām not sure (based on pics) if thatās true. Does anyone know if the ā16 base models came with Recaros?
I took a beating trading in my Tech Pack, but do not regret it. The R is twice the car. Good luck. I first bought a tech because I couldnāt find an R for less than the price of a 3/3/2 home. Bonus is that I now have a great comparison having driven both.
