Anyone have any delivery or production updates? I haven't read anything to suggest any Australian customer cars have have been released from the upfitters / put on a boat yet? I sent a PM to Deysha over the weekend for an update but haven't heard back yet.

Thanks mustangguy64. I can see 4 vehicles with consecutive VINs that are bound for Melbourne (1FA6P8CFXG5200195, 6 ,7 and 8). Looking up in ETIS these were built in mid July. Assuming these are most likely final pre-production cars (or press cars?) and not customer cars.

Built on 27 August. So seems like it is taking quite awhile to get to the upfitter.

Got an update from FordService over the weekend on my car. No change... (i.e. car still waiting to go to the upfitter). Starting to get nervous about the 11th October ETA for arrival in Baltimore.

G RUSH - Have done a quick update to the ETIS comparison I did before between a 2016 US GT Premium with PP and a 2016 AUS spec GT. The only European one I could quickly find was an Ecoboost with the Custom pack so not a direct match... See attached. Not sure it makes anything clearer though...

Good spot Aussie Mate! Have just checked my ETIS and its also been updated to include the same additional items.

POJ 1, 11th October is the expected ETA into Baltimore that Deysha (Ford Service) has been advising based on our VINs. Once your car is built Deysha should be able to give you an ETA for when your car is due into Baltimore.

Does anyone know what occurs at the upfitters? The last update I had from Deysha was on 1 Sept and was that my car had been built and was due to go to the upfitter within the next week. I suspect based on what is being discussed here, and in the UK thread, that it hasn't gone to the upfitter...

Thanks for those screen grabs WILDB and GAFA. Good to see and gives some hope that we still might get the PP splitter on our cars. From what I've seen European spec GT convertibles have the PP splitter. However, have only seen pictures of press vehicles and not any actual customer delivered...

Interesting. I'm assuming its going to take a month or so on the ship, so if that date doesn't change, it sounds like we are looking like mid November for delivery. Sounds like Ford might be sending a month (or so) worth of production at a time. If that is the case it should mean a decent...
