    Yep, That’s what Ford 5.0 Powertrain Engineering told me 6 months ago. Also said it was oil cavitation causing the noise.

    My car is tuned for full E85. I have no issues. Full E85 is the way to go!! Never had an issue with my warranty on all my cars, all have been tuned.

    Not a fan of flex tunes. It’s best to keep it on one tune E85 or 93.

    Like I said NO WHERE in the manual does it say "any additive voids the warranty" that statement is bullsh*t! Just my from my experience Ford Engineering gave me an additive for my engine.

    I've been told they have been testing different types of bearings. Some have the tick and a lot don't, it all depends on engine build stack-up. It seems if the customer really has a problem with the tick and it bothers them, a good dealership & Ford will replace the short block or long block...

    They do not put an additive in at Flat Rock. XL-17 has been long gone for many years.

    Yes! No difference between the 2018 - 2019 same exact engine.
