The gt350 doesn't explode from a dead stop, but it doesn't take long to get the engine above 3500 rpm, and once you do it's really incredible to drive. It's very quick, but very smooth, and the engine feels like it WANTS to be revved, unlike other cars I have driven which seem to feel strained...

Gt350R
This is my third mustang. I had a 1994 V6, and still own a 2007 V6. Don't knock the base Mustangs, they are still decent for the price range!
I had full Sunktek ultra as well, with Xpell stealth over matte stripes. I posted a few pictures here as well. The lines are almost impossible to see, except at the stripes, and then only if you look closely. If you need additional views other than these and what others provided, I can take some...
Thank you everyone!
Yes, Xpel stealth is the matte film.
I went with SunTek because both of the detailers who seemed most recommended in the area both prefer it over XPEL. They felt SunTek is more transparent, and one of them seemed to feel that XPEL tends try getting out of warranty claims...
I remember people discussing how best to address the matte stripes on the R models when applying PPF. I just got my car back from having PPF and CQuartz applied, so I thought I would share what it looks like in case anyone just getting their R models is curious what the result is of covering...
As others have said, I would get the R, unless you are planning on getting the next top mustang. Although I haven't driven mine more than a few hundred miles, the R is absolutely fantastic, and well worth it, IMO.
$10k over seems like a good deal, although who knows what markups will be with the 2018 year. I think most people, including myself, did not think there would be more after 2017. I would have waited to see if ADMs decreased, but such is life. As is, I paid $15k over for my R, which I ordered on...
My car is still out getting paint correction, PPF and CQuartz. PPF is finally done (whole car couldn't bear to leave some parts uncovered after looking at my 10 year old daily driver's myriad of chips in bizarre places). Installer sent me pics of it. It will get CQuartz installed next week...
Congratulations! Did I miss the pictures?
I agree with most of this, but I disagree that below 4k rpm it is, "just a regular old car." In sport mode with the exhaust open it still sounds like a beast, and it just drives so well. Still feels special to me! I would rather say that it has very...
Congratulations, I like the Avalanche with the red pinstripes, haven't seen that too much, looks really good!
Yes, the cars do have so much personality! Their presence in real life just isn't well captured by pictures.
I opted to do the whole car having seen all the places that my daily driven 2007 mustang has obtained chips and scratches over the years (places you might not expect!). I am paying about $6200 for the wrap, which is a custom job (and will include matte film over the stripes). I debated it for...
I posted this in the other PPF thread, but I am not sure which thread is more appropriate....I am seeking some advice on PPF. I spoke to two installers near me (both seem well-rated in the Houston area, as far as I can tell).
One of them wants to remove the headlights, air vent coverings...
I am seeking some advice on PPF. I spoke to two installers near me (both seem well-rated in the Houston area, as far as I can tell).
One of them wants to remove the headlights, air vent coverings, etc. to wrap the coating as seamlessly as possible. They use XPEL.
The other will wrap edges...
I found this on their website, and I think that is what the other people here are using.
