After nearly a year (11 months and 22 days since original down payment), most of which I spent wondering if I had a real allocation, my gt350R is home. HR 305 greets everyone on the forum!
I have always loved and owned mustangs. My first car was a red 1994 mustang, and my (other) current car...
Not passing judgement or giving Ford a passs, but I have a genuine question.
If the tech pack cars were to have full track capability without limitation, what would have been the benefit or reason for one to have purchased the track package instead? The engines are the same, weight similar, and...
Thanks so much for the information!
I am getting it from a dealer near Dallas, and yes, there was an ADM, but a little less than what I was quoted from Houston area dealers. I ordered it last April, but COTUS says it is in transit, and scheduled for delivery on the 23rd.
I am definitely...
Hey everyone, I am seeking any advice from people in the greater Houston area. I live just north of Houston, and will likely be picking up my gt350R at the end of the month. I am seeking opinions from people familiar with the area for:
1. Any reputable shops for Xpel or similar installation...
Personally, I would keep the gt350 for a while longer, and see what else Ford comes up with.
It seems that you would possibly stand to lose money or at best break even, depending on what you paid for the gt350 vs. what you would sell it for, compared to the price of a new car purchase. Not to...
I ordered mine 4/12/16, and it went into production around 2/22/17. It is currently in transit to a dealer near dallas, for what it is worth. Perhaps yours will be up for manufacture soon.
I believe (someone please correct me if I am wrong), but I think the stripes do not show in COTUS, and are added after the vehicle is built. M stripes do not show in cotus either at any rate.
As others have said, it varies a lot. To add my data to the list (I am very excited), I ordered an R on 4/12/16. My dealer just today sent me the VIN, with an estimated production start date of 2/27. That said, some people have gotten theirs within a few weeks.
Without official word from Ford, personally I would be hesitant to take the word of a dealership employee when they have a definite stake in you believing there will be no 2018 model.
I also have skin in this game. I have had an R on order since April 12th. However, I asked for a document...
I am in the same boat. Ordered an R from a Texas dealer on 4/12/16. Their 2016 R was sold to a (former) member of this forum, and did not arrive until the end of May, so I am assuming a similar time to arrival for mine. Still hard to wait so long though. It is really a strange allocation system...
It is rather sad to see people calling the gt 350 stale when many of us are still waiting on our allocation to get pulled in the spring...
Well it will still be exciting for me when the time comes, although I am looking forward to hearing about the next Ford performance mustang! :ford:
The review was not that bad, but it felt to me like he wanted to pick at the gt350, so he focused more on points he did not like than what he did. I think it is pretty much proven that the gt350 has excellent peformance, yet he spent more time talking about the radio and the height of the seat...
