What I would like to have someday is a car that is out-of-freaking-gas when the "miles to empty" shows zero. If "zero" just means that you are now on reserve, then how about labeling it "miles to reserve", or "miles till you only can go 40 more miles"?
It drives me crazy that in my wife's...
I didn't forget, I just left them off because the description doesn't indicate that an inspection is required every year. Some states seem to require one only at initial registration, and that is the way that this web site reads:
Every motor vehicle, trailer (exempting boat trailers effective...
In all seriousness, if they insist on keeping it - ask (politely) to speak to the sales manager and just tell him that you hope that they get a lot of use out of that $500, because it will be the last penny that they ever see from you. You will never buy a car or a part or a service there, and...
Must be an East Coast thing. I just glanced through AAA's "Digest of Motor Laws (Safety Inspection) http://drivinglaws.aaa.com/laws/safety-inspection/, and can only find a couple of states West of the Mississippi that require annual safety inspections.
Most states allow for spontaneous safety...
This is making me a little crazy. My last Mustang had an aftermarket alarm in it, and I had it configured to automatically lock the doors and arm the alarm 30 seconds after I closed the door. Really handy, if your hands are full.
I had that car for 9 years....
Now I find myself going back...
I agree with this 100%. Why would you care what anyone else thinks about your car? Did they help you buy it?
Almost 9 years ago, I bought a 2006 V6 Premium Mustang. At that time, it met my needs. I loved the body style and color, it got surprisingly good gas mileage, and it had plenty of...
You just never know. My car was ordered on 10/15. It has a VIN, but is still showing as being in Order Processing.
I went ahead and bought a different car off of the dealer lot that was close enough to what I wanted, but I am still tracking the original one out of curiosity.
On page 73 of the Mustang Owner manual That I have, it says:
GLOBAL OPENING (If Equipped)
You can use the remote control to operate
the windows with the ignition off.
Note:You can enable or disable this feature
in the information display, or see an
authorized dealer. See General...
This made me smile. Our dealership buys gas from a Shell station a few blocks away. When we went in to buy my car last week, my wife insisted that we test drive before we signed, and the car hadn't had any gas put in since it arrived (it had 17.6 on the odo and was showing 4 miles to empty)...
That is interesting. I had an '06 V6 and the road noise in it was terrible. It didn't have built-in BT, but I was only ever able to find one headset that had good enough noise cancellation to be usable at freeway speeds. To be clear, *I* could hear fine - it was the people that I was talking to...
So far, I am finding the outgoing sound quality on the BT phone link to be unusable at highway speeds. Has anyone found a way to make this better?
Essentially it appears that road noise is flooding the outbound link, so I can hear my callers fine, but they either get road noise roar or sound...
The Ford site isn't going to go into that level of detail regarding the fees.
If you go to fordpartner.com, enter the partner code (such as eaa01) and launch build & price from there, you can option your car the way you want it and see the X-Plan pricing for each of the options as you select...
I was really torn on the transmission. I finally decided that compromising on that made more sense than that holding out and potentially losing my incentives.
All in all, I am really happy with it!
I just noticed that we are neighbors.... I live on the good side of the river! Maybe we will see each other out on the road someday! Ruby Red GT with 50th Anniversary Pkg...
