I too can confirm this...I could easily see why this would disappear as the pipes get coated with carbon build up...I haven't really noticed any drone unless you un cap them which by the way above 3k rpm sounds awesome! All in all I am in love with the mach setup and like others including Todd I...
Coming from Audi's previously I was quite spoiled by their fit/finish and materials and while the current gen mustang is good, this definitely takes it to the next level.
yeah to me its a dumb rivalry...why not enjoy multiple brands...those die hard ford, chevy, bmw, etc fans aren't paid any extra to stick with one brand.
A true car person can enjoy any brand/model for what its worth.
Guess I should add...I have the mustang, Acura, Honda, Infiniti and Audi
Thanks Nightmare, I did see a few of those threads but a lot of them get off topic quickly (and this one may as well). I am running Pittsburg International Raceway on the North Track and I don't think it will be too bad on the brakes, just wanted some feedback.
So I am headed to my first performance driving event in a week or so and want some advice on pad upgrades as well as fluid - the car is not an everyday driver so I am curious what pads others are going with
Some info on the car: 2015 GT with PP...about 7500 miles on it.
Also has Eibach Pro...
like someone else said I saw the car sitting there in the background of another review and was waiting for this. Good video to watch. I was impressed with how much he liked the car.
Nicely done
you are 100% on the money...granted my car is not stock, but coming from the Audi world which had a mantra of understated performance, I rarely got any attention unless it was from another VW/Audi person.
I cant take this car any where without getting attention...so far its been great.
springs are changed as well...Eibach pro kit. Looking to try later today. Obviously to a previous point a lot of different factors will go into it, including road surface. I am going to see if I can get to the same spot I was and try with traction off.
I think I know the answer to this just haven't had the time to try it out so I figured I would turn to my friends here on 6g.
I recently installed the steeda subframe braces and vertical links.
Yesterday, and let me preface by saying I normally drive in Sport+, I revved the car to about...
same here...posted in the normal S550 section and the consensus is that the seating position in this car, recaros or not, is too high...we all are looking for options.
called 2 other dealers advertising at MSRP only to find out they were 10k over...might be time to start searching for a dealer who will order a 17 at msrp and begin the waiting game.
