I don't know anyone that is making a new radiator cover yet, but I am sure they are in development. I know JLT makes them for the 05-15 Mustang, I will ask Jay if they are doing one for the 2015+.

No problem Tcnarber, There are two way to solve the problem: 1) As others have already stated, you can Slide a small flat blade screw driver under the metal c-clip on the back of the end-fitting. Slowly twist and pull the gas spring from the ball-stud while prying c-clip (DO NOT REMOVE C-CLIP)...

Yes, that is exactly what you want. We designed the gas spring to sit perfectly horizontal when the hood is closed. This puts no upward pressure on the hood and prevents the hood from bowing as some "other" hood lift systems have been known to do. :thumbsup:

Twenty15, It's all personal preference. Functionally the PLUS and ELITE systems are the same it's all about aesthetics. We salt spray test our black gas springs in the PLUS system to the industry standard 150 hours per ASTM B117, so they match the OEM requirements for under hood corrosion...

Jim, Please see the link to the video below as it shows the gas springs take over @ around 20". Our QuickLIFT system will not effect the closing of the hood. :thumbsup:
