As 2Cool mentioned above, you do not need to remove anything from our system to access the battery, simply swivel the cover out of the way. :thumbsup:

Hello Jim, Our system requires a hole to be drilled through the plastic battery cover, however the bracket does not mount to the cover itself. The bracket mounts to the frame and it pokes through the battery cover. There is still access to the battery with our system installed.

Yes, there is a 3/4" step bit included in the systems that are currently shipping from us. Our initial shipment of the drill bits was delayed and some of the dealers that placed early stocking orders did not receive them in their system packaging.

MixTape, Please see the picture below. The washer line runs between the hood bracket and the end-fitting of the gas spring. There is plenty of space there and the line will not be pinched. Thanks for your input, we will add this info to our instruction manual. Andreas
