So here is something that's been bugging me for a while. As I understand it, the standard GT350 doesn't come with an oil cooler. Why is this? If I'm wrong about this, please correct me. How on Earth does this make any sense for the 5.2L FPC V8? Doesn't the GT's Coyote V8 come with one as...
So has the senior management of Ford publicly addressed this issue of build quality? If it is indeed a wide-spread problem then they should be doing everything in their power to fix it. The last thing a car manufacturer can afford in this day and age is to give impression that they have contempt...
For cryin' out loud, can we PLEASE have the option of getting non-black wheels? I don't give a rat's rear end about brake dust. I just want a set of brushed nickle or brushed titanium rims without having to go to the aftermarket.
It is probably worth noting that 2008 was the year of the financial sector crisis and the beginning of the Great Recession. The country has been struggling to claw its way out of that hole ever since. The fact that 2015 Model Year Mustang sales are over 100,000 is likely due in part to some...
Poor TopNotch. It's as though he's the driver of a '74 Ford LTD station wagon that has several thousand eight year olds in the back nattering "Are we there yet? Are we there yet, Are we there yet? ..." ;)
Has anyone from Ford ever addressed the QC issue on this forum? I'd be interested to hear what they have to say. I think that a few teething pains would be expected in the launch of a new model. What is harder to comprehend is that glaring things like panel misalignment or hood misalignment...
Ford seems to have a thing about coming up with cool-looking colors to not make available with the Mustang. A lot of meeting hours must go into such strenuous work. They probably have a senior Vice President in charge of such an important project. ;-)
To repeat a thought offered in a different thread, I think the oil cooler that is part of the track package should either be standard equipment or should be offered as a stand-alone option.
I agree. I really wanted that color in the CGI pictures to be Avalanche Gray. I think Magnetic looks beautiful but I agree it can look overly dark when not in direct sunlight. I wish Ford would quit showing the GT350 in colors they do not plan to offer. That just breeds disappointment.
If I get what I'm interested in, it's hard to think about what I'd change besides getting the dealer to install the oil cooler unit that is part of the track package. That ought to be standard equipment. :)
Why not call it something like "The Route 66 Mustang Spring Stampede" (if that's not already taken somewhere else) and invite all Ford Mustangs of any model or year. I have no doubt you'd get a crowd of takers.
