I haven't had any real accidents since I've had my insurance with them but with the couple fender-benders I've encountered they've been terrific.
  2. Geico

Yep, far as I know. I'm no kid anymore and I switched a couple years back because my Dad finally got around to getting a USAA membership and then he suggested I look into their insurance because their rates are generally fantastic.
  3. Geico

Yep. Ask her to get a USAA membership. She can then get you a USAA membership number. You can then apply for their auto insurance. Everyone I know who has it loves it. They've been great to me.

If you or one of your parents has served in th U.S. Military, seriously look into USAA auto insurance. I switched to that from State Farm. My insurance premium basically got cut in half. I won't do business with State Farm again.
  5. GT350 Colors

I would love to see liquid silver with the titanium stripes be offered for the 900A in 2016 or 2017. I would cough up an additional $300 to $500 for that color on my GT350.
  6. GT350 Colors

I would still love to know if Ford ever put an official name to the metallic silver-gray color on the CGI GT350 "reveal" car. I cannot believe that was intended to be a representation of what has turned out to be Avalanche Gray. I've looked around in other threads to see if this already came to...
  7. 2016 Mustang Ecoboost Pony Package spotted

I think it looks great. Too bad it's not an option that can stack with a GT Premium PP.
  8. Below MSRP?

This will happen in due course but likely not until much later this year ( my speculation is between Thankgiving and Christmas) when perhaps I'm guessing we may get some hint from Ford about whatever the next big thing is.
  9. 2016 GT350/GT350R Mustang Pricing! Starts at $47,870

If I read the guides right, the 920a ("R") car cannot be ordered with the tech package, only the 900a car can. However the R car can be ordered with the electronics package, which adds back in things like AC and a radio but keeps the Recaro seats.
  10. 2016 GT350/GT350R Mustang Pricing! Starts at $47,870

You're absolutely right. I didn't see them get added to the front of the thread. Nice to know an invoice price for what I'm looking for will be even cheaper than my initial guesstimate. EDIT: so at invoice, a 900A+67T car with VA and GG taxes and destination charge comes to $55,039.00...
  11. 2016 GT350/GT350R Mustang Pricing! Starts at $47,870

More fun with math. If I make a wild-ass guess that the differential multiplier between MSRP and dealer invoice is .935, then the 900A+67T car with taxes (incl. GG tax) and destination charge comes to about $55,796.00 (rounding up to the nearest dollar). If a dealer offered me that price in...
  12. 2016 GT350/GT350R Mustang Pricing! Starts at $47,870

So if I've got my figures right it looks like a 900A+67T car, accounting for everything except tags, comes to $59,762.49. (Full retail plus taxes and destination). While I can swing that, I may wait to see when I might be able to work a deal at invoice. I can wait a year if need be.
  13. GT350 Mustang test drive / impressions / info

Oh, I don't have a Mustang yet. As I said above, I'm not an expert in such technical matters. Always happy to learn, though. My current ride has an air-to-oil cooler on it and I think that's been part of protecting/extending the life of the engine through a lot of long miles and hard use. :) And...
  14. GT350 Mustang test drive / impressions / info

As someone interested in getting a 900A + 67T car, the only concern I've got is being able to get the engine oil cooler from the track pack as a kit and getting the dealer to install it. If I'm going to take that kind of machine on extended road trips then I'd want at least the same oil-cooling...
  15. GT350 Colors

Yeah, something like that. I don't know if Ford has ever done a tri-coat metallic silver for the Mustang but I'd be interested to see what they might come up with.
  16. Which one should I get help me out

Get the GT PP. If a high quality driving experience is what you're really after, then that's the top shelf, unless you're willing to shell out whatever is necessary to get into a GT350.
  17. GT350 Colors

I would like to see a new color, a metallic silver that is one or two shades darker than ingot silver and which has more depth to it than ingot silver does. Maybe we will see a wider range of choices for the 2017 model year.
  18. GT350 Colors

Has anyone heard any explanation from Ford as to why they're not offering factory rocker stripes for the GT350? Obviously it would be pretty straightforward to get an aftermarket shop to install a set for you. However the rocker stripes are such a classic Shelby feature that I'm surprised you...
  19. 2016 Mustang Changes thread.

The black wheels and other "blackout" appearance treatments are a fad - just like tail fins in the 1950s. It will have its day and then go away (sooner would be ok with me).
