Whipple's is for their tune, Stage 1 or 2, 3 year/36K miles for $5K of engine damage.

Definitely don't need to race to appreciate an aftermarket shifter. The way I looked at it is, your hands only touch the steering wheel in your car more so why not spend the money on something you physically interact with so much.
