I think he was saying that the "900" wheel HP was a stretch for the average stock limitation. I think we can all agree that 900 RWHP for a stock block is A LOT.
Nope, no need to request a new config file!
I did not dyno with my 3.75 and I know every dyno is different, but with a Dynojet I made 72x RWHP SAE with the Stage 2, 3.625 pulley, 91 octane plus a can of Octanium, and O/R LT's.
The Op asked how to turn off the nannies and I answered the question and you decided to then proceed to say we are going to end up on C&C crash videos. So, who is the asshole?
Because... If LC is on, then some form of TC is on... if TC is fully disabled, then LC doesn't work.
I prefer the car to do what I want when I tell it to. Let's not make this a macho thing. It just takes some brains to do things like not "show off".
It won't. LC is still engaged, which needs some form of TC to be on.
Take out fuse 62. That's what I did. Fully disables AdvanceTrac AND Traction Control.
Holding the button/switch down for 5-10 seconds does not fully disable everything.
I cannot comment on that particular one, but the other splitter I bought from them was cheap, flimsy, and I'd rate fitment 3.5/5.
You definitely get what you pay for with them.
That's a lot of money (GT350 + built motor + boost) to make peak gains @ 6,000 RPM and spin less than plain old GT's. Was that because of the parts chosen to build the motor or ? Nevertheless a lot of power.
Look at the dyno sheets, it starts losing power just before 6K RPM, I'd imagine that's...
You positive they broke them? I tried 3M, epoxy, and Loctite and none of them most certainly kept my broken clips on for even a day. I drive agressively, but even so a year is a LONG time.
UPR hands down. I was hesitant to spend so much on a catch can, but after receiving it it was a no brainer for FI. Hands down the best quality with no corners cut.
I think what Sean is trying to say is that most Mustang enthusiasts end their shopping at "twin turbo, cheap, makes xxx RWHP" rather than actually examining the quality and craftsmanship of the kit.
In other words, McDonalds may have the best selling hamburger, but that doesn't make it...
