I think he was saying that a 3 inch exhaust would offer better performance and make the twin turbo kit more efficient. I would assume you would not be able to use your existing headers. the oil less turbos use water and grease for cooling so you do not need a oil supply so no tapping of oil...

I agree! Im holding out hope for twins as well! if not then why make a gt500? They could add a auto option and the tvs option to the gt 350 and be done with it!

I agree! turbos are more powerful and efficient. I am still hoping for tt for the gt500. I really want a factory turbo car with a warranty. If no turbo I will twin turbo my gt or go with the corvette z06 or zr1. I am afraid with the adm's on the car the z06 will be cheaper and faster anyway!

Can someone comment on if these kits are internally or externally wastegated? do they recirculate the gasses for lower sound or vent to atmosphere? Is this determined by the type of turbo? design of the kit? I wonder what setup would be the best for a simple street setup. I guess 10 lbs...

I am anxiously awaiting the gt 500 so I can purchase it or the z06. Unfortunately I think the gt500 will cost a lot more than the z06. I have seen new 2017 z06's for under 70k. I think the z06 will outperform the gt500 at a lower price!

how will port injection/direct injection affect modding on 2018 mustang? it seems to have made it harder to get enough fuel on the chevy motors.

Injected engineering in Kennesaw is a mustang shop. There is a alignment shop in chamblee I think. They setup cars for racing. I'll try to find name.

I agree! I would think ford would use the getrag transmission from the ford gt. model 7dcl750 It is rated at 550tq and not the one linked here.

A dct shifts fast I'm sure but it's probably alot more expensive and complex than the a10. The a10 would probably be better for upgrading to hold more power.

I thought he was implying that the a10 or dct will hold the power based on the raptor zl1 and zo6 having a auto. He said Ford needs a car with more horsepower than the gt350 to compete with the higher hp cars like zl1

you can get 20 percent off a z06 right now. I traded my mustang for a z06. The z06 has way better fit and finish than the mustang and it is a lot faster. I hope the gt 500 will be better but it will probably be slower than the z06 and be the same price!

everyone here knows twin turbo is the schizz! I think the beefcake special with lund tuning would make you happy and the cost per horsepower might be the best. Paxton be easier to turn car back to stock. if you seek more power later the Paxton will carry you farther if u build motor than...

the only comp turbos I have seen are water cooled only and a special grease I think packed in the bearings. a shop near me has used them on Chevrolet stuff. I guess the expense comes in when u have to repack the bearings
