In the photo, and definitely in person, the border is irregular and wavy and has what looks like black marks in some areas that do not come off with light rubbing or washing.

I personally went and examined. It is level; no discernible step off between areas, just a feel of differing “smoothness” if that makes sense. I was hesitant, and my installer was too, to buff. Really feels and looks like it didn’t get sprayed. It’s such a large area too.

I would not put money either way. IMO the photo quality and lighting make it a difficult read. We are expecting the carbon fiber handling pack to be painted CF wheels...a lot to take in here.
