Seeing the photo I've figured out why I don't have the problem - the convertible belt is mounted way lower on the window-line (lower than my shoulder). Which probably also explains why putting it through the guide doesn't work well - it ends up twisted in a very odd way.
Easter weather in the UK has been fantastic - today is 23C and sunny so grabbed a shot before heading out to catch a few rays... (Don't look too closely and you won't see the odd dead bug and dust!) Any reason to bump the Ruby Red thread - so glad my Ingot Silver order was delayed so I had to...
Glad it's not just me - when she saw it, my wife said I was something but it wasn't genius :)

You end up with 2 little boxes that you don't need. If you prefer just the larger boxes, there is a...
Wanted somewhere to store bits and pieces in the boot, so seemed sensible to use the space in the spare wheel well rather than use up real boot space - but didn't want stuff rattling around. Found some drawer organisers on Amazon that are exactly the right size...
Probably makes sense - I think manufacturers tend to quote higher pressures than really necessary as it's better for fuel economy... The fact that the manual says 32 PSI for normal driving and 32PSI for sustained over 100MPH definitely suggests that less than 32 is fine!
Yep, both of my Vettes had some interesting panel alignment and materials...and the less said about the Gen4 Camaro the better...but it didn't make them any less enjoyable to drive :) I always found it amusing that a certain overly-aggressive former Top Gear presenter took pleasure in prodding...
11.2 on mine. It was a dealer order MY19, built in July last year, probably arrived in the UK in September last year, and then sitting around until I bailed on my custom order and drove away in it last week. So not bad considering the time and shipping distance involved (I was expecting it to...
Good point - when I originally read that I thought he meant his hack workaround didn't work on post MY18.5...but on re-reading I think you're right that he's saying the F8 update just won't work.
OK, I'm bored and I've got too much time on my hands... (AKA looking for distractions from real work)
I downloaded my Sync 3.3 update from the Ford UK site a few weeks ago and installed it in my car at the weekend. The version info from the download was:
; SYNC3 Dealer Assembly Upgrade -...
I think the "minor" version number depends on individual cars - mine was on 3.2.xxxx before the update, on 3.3.xxxx after the update. I did find a few comments on other Ford forums that it can take days for the Sync update site to decide you can have new maps...so could be a waiting game.
So having said I wouldn't mod my car... I bought a blind-spot mirror from Amazon (ÂŁ4.85 for a pair) so I can at least see the passenger side of the car :)
Out of interest, what map version are you on? I updated my Sync today (went to 3.3.18351_PRODUCT) and it's also saying my maps are up to date...although according to "About Sync" I'm on F7 maps when F8 is supposedly the latest...
