My dealer guaranteed my trade value, no matter the delivery date. Another dealer would as long as I didn't get more than 2500 miles on it in the meantime, meaning the offer was likely going to not be worth the time I spend hearing about it.
Alt option, CarMax. They gave the best offer, but...
Good points on the all-seasons, but mainly it's that I don't want to change my tires out for colder weather alternative, Oklahoma gets ice and some snow, temps drop well below 40F in December/Jan, down to 0F at times. Temps also swing a lot, it can been 20F in the morning and 70F in the...
As a guy with 20 years with the same woman (not married in terms of certificate, but we think/treat our relationship as married - long story, but we have the same mindset), I also recommend not letting someone else tell you what you can and can't have as a vehicle. As long as there is food on...
E85 will show ridiculously low gas mileage as it runs through the engine via a 4" fire hose. Any vehicle that can run both gas and E85, is like this. Basically cut your mileage in half. I believe you'll see more power, and it's a bit cheaper, so it's a trade off and I think doesn't balance out.
I've been going under an assumption that with the seats folded down, I could fit a set of tires and wheels for a track-day for transport to the event, swap tires/wheels there, have fun, swap back and drive home. That way I can use the OE tires/wheels that are from the performance pack 2 for...
Given the chart, you'll get half the difference in diameter; so you're looking at .15", basically just over 1/8" (.125") and not quite 3/16" (.1875") - if that much difference causes rub, you probably should consider a slight tweak to your setup :)
Also consider that manufacturers vary a bit on...
That's hilariously optimistic, from what I've seen so far. I'm already beyond that and I don't yet have a VIN, let alone a schedule for build, and a schedule for delivery.
:headbonk:
Try different gas when you get a chance.
From one of these sources, as they'll like y be more consistent/quality.

This is what I plan on doing as well; failing that, alt wheels+tires that match PP1 spec.
I also plan to leave the front splitter off. Gasp. /worldends
Why did I waste $800...because of the other upgrades. I figure if I ever drop a supercharger on it, I've already got the suspension...
My order is ahead of yours by a few weeks, no VIN yet and we're at the same dealer. My sales rep told me it's not unusual for it to be several weeks before I get a VIN, but once I do, it should happen fairly quickly after that.
I'll only panic if I hit week 10 and still nothing. I am in Week...
I disagree.
I went this route with the idea maybe, a few times, I might find a road coarse to play with, but for the most part it'll be long stretches of state highways if I want to just drive. Basically this will (likely) replace my motorcycle, as well as get me back and forth to work; both...
I've got my car on order; thinking of getting some alternate rims for non-track / daily driving. PPK2 is what I've got on the order...
Thinking of AR924 in 20x10.5 and 20x9, as they have a similar look to the PPK2 wheels that I like, but are a bit slimmer so easier to fit all season tires to...
