  1. Anybody change oil filter half way through oil changes?

I'm a 1.5; I just change it once a year, everything that needs an oil change, gets it done; need it or not. Motorcycle, car, bus, lawn mower...that way I fill up 1 bucket to recycle, and I get super-messy once.
  2. Need part number installer scratched this part and would like to replace

BBB won't do anything for you, lawyer up, but be prepared to break even at best. Lawyer will eat up any money you get, and you'll still have a scratched panel. Best bet is to leave negative reviews wherever possible so they lose customers for not listening to the vehicle owner.
  3. Thinking of selling my car for a Raptor.

Demod it, sell the mods at 50% and hope for the best there. Once those are sold, sell the car; then buy a raptor. Personally, I can't see spending $70K on a truck; but they wouldn't be on the road if there weren't buyers out there. Good luck, enjoy the truck!
  4. TIRES

Considering Canada, those tires lasted you about 1 summer's worth ;)
  5. TIRES

Summer if weather doesn't go below freezing, 40F if possible...some summer tires will crack/split, all of them traction is diminished to a significant degree. Why I went with Motivo...all-season as my car is my only vehicle.
  6. Backing up parking beep is too LOUD

Sensor beeps too loud is a crybaby opinion however missing front sensors when competing products have had them for half a decade...sure, that's equal logic.
  7. Backing up parking beep is too LOUD

Call the waambulance. What's missing are front parking sensors...
  8. TIRES

Nitto Motivo user...not tried others; short of the PSC2's that it came with, and likely won't mess with those short of a track day.
  9. 2019 MT82

Mine kicks a bit going from 2-3, and will clunk when going from neutral to 1st at a stop; but figure that's just clutch-drag. I figure if it's a problem or gets worse by 30K, I can get it fixed under warranty. If not, it's probably not an issue.
  10. What's your other car (if you have another one)

2017 Harley-Davidson Breakout Wife's 2012 Camry XLE V6 Later; depending on if it can tow the Mustang on a trailer, 2019 Ranger; else 2020 Bronco; else consider current trucks from Ford, Chevy, Toyota...but not a Tundra unless I can do just an extended-cab; I had a 1794 and that long wheelbase +...
  11. Found a nail in my tire.

Sealant would be ideal if you're on a road trip and have a ways to go, weekend, no known tire shops...etc. Otherwise, hit autozone or similar and get a tire plug kit and a set of needle-nose pliars, and get after it. That said, a lot of tire shops will repair those for free to get your business...
  12. Sort of disappointed with the digital dash

I think it's perfect, so, there ya go.
  13. How Obsessive Are You About Your Car?

I waver between all of the options. Mostly because it's new. Mostly because it's not that special of a car (there are many like it but this one's mine) - it's not a lambo, Ferrari, Bentley, etc. At the end of the day, it's a Ford, and it will never be worth the money I paid for it the second...
  14. Synchro upshifts too?

I'm not sure if I like it or not, but knowing it's doing it and adjusting for it, I've managed to smooth out my shifting significantly for daily-driving. But, that's now, with 300 on the odometer after not having had a manual transmission for 8 years. As I get more into the car and what it can...
  15. 2018 powered steering overheating ?

Hadn't noticed, but I also have only 300 miles in on mine and most of that is just normal DD stuff. I am aiming to a bit of casual driving this weekend. Started to last weekend, but I 1/2 my TPMS sensors went offline; I suspect because the tire pressures went over 40 on those tires; I've since...
  16. Is Mustang GT your Weekend car or DD?

DD, 250 miles on the clock, getting about 20-22mpg. I think work is < 15 miles one-way, with only about 3 miles of surface street. I tend to change vehicles every 2 years, but (honeymoon phase speaking) perhaps I can hang on to this one longer if I get a truck; as I do occasionally need a...
  17. Absolutely sick...

Interesting; my thought is from the ticketed owner's perspective, where could they park in that situation. Tint being one thing, but it's not like there's any room there?
  18. Synchro upshifts too?

Curious thing I noticed driving home today. Seems the 2019 seems to do upshift matching as well. Maybe this is true for mustangs prior(?) Last manual I had was a '97 Ranger...I've attributed my crappy shifting skills to being out of practice...but maybe not... What I noticed is that it'll...
  19. Ford Prepaid Maintenance

More expensive; sure. There's a logo on them. Prepaid maintenance, from what I know, will cover your oil changes through X-miles or Y-years. No more, no less. Everything more involved won't be part of the maintenance...most of the bigger-ticket items come at 100K or later, which pre-paid won't...
