First DIY project..for pretty much anything so hoping I could get some tips/corrections of my current steps I've written out so I'm prepared
2015 mustang gt base
1) Lift up car, 4 jack stands, take wheels off. Seen videos of where to place it. Btw, does it need to be a sunny/dry day if I'm...
Didn't see it on the website. And as a novice, what difference does it make if lets say they recommend 120 pounds but I torque it at 100 pounds? Or 140 pounds?
I'm on 275/35/20 tires if that matters.
Also..is using a torque wrench pretty easy to use?

Just follow this video? Jack it up anywhere along the "pinch weld"? From what it looks like, that's a super thin piece of metal at 1:50?
If anyone has better pictures much appreciated. Never jacked a car up but my uncle has 4 jack stands and a very good lift as well so we're using that...
I know they recommended quik detailer, but I read you can just buy ONR and dilute it to make the same thing for cheap essentially. Anyone have experience with this?
I've read like 10 different topics on reddit, all of which had vastly different, strong, opinions.
Some said leather cleaner. NO conditioner
Some said both.
Others say since it's been treated just water/wipe.
Others say optimum no rinse (ONR).
I hope this is a better place to...
I apologize to mods for all my questions for a freakn $10 mod, but I don't want to have 3 different orange colors on my car.
I'm mildly colorblind.
I have matte gt350 style pinstripes on the top of the car.
I'm painting calipers g2 orange. - can/should I add a mattefier or something...

I heard oracal is a good brand. But I need to make sure it's thin enough to curve apparently. Anyone know if this will...
beams on during the daytime? I was playing around with it while driving, and you can flash the high beams, but when you push the left lever forward and it's stuck there, the high beams go off. This is canada though. Or is my car broken..
I just tried it again at night and it was working fine...
And got a pic? I'm wondering with the lower level of part of the caliper noted here..https://i.imgur.com/N90x9Wm.png
all I have to work with is one inch wide. Lettering would work well with that but I'm not brembo and don't want "mustang" written there. So either running pony or GT. Leaning...
I'll try to keep it short, I tend to ramble.
Have a 2015 base GT. I love it, but the A10 and 3.9 and quarter mile are stupid appealing. I don't track it often, and more do spirited runs or "redlight racing" so the launch control and a10 seem to be a better fit to me than just a supercharger...
Only the first time I do it for the day or session. Base 2015 mustang GT. issue only started happening the last couple months. No other issues.
Only happens at the beginning so like if I just take it into D (automatic) after its been sitting for a while. Not in traffic.
I hear anywhere between 6 months to 4 years. I "only" have 25000 kms on my car and I rarely drive it in the rain, yet the wipers have been crap the last..10000kms or so. In the rare times I use it when it rains it's been very streaky in certain parts. Not loud or anything. I've done the...
I did the typical unoriginal plastidip of the GT emblem. It turned out well but after 3 years I want a change, especially given how dull it is on the black rear panel.
I've seen one picture of someone who did it orange (mustang emblem) and it looked a bit too ricey, but does anyone have pics...
I got them replaced a couple years ago already with the TSB. Haven't been an issue since.
Lately for the first like..30 seconds to a minute the brakes are squealing again. Is that normal and just cold weather?
I got them replaced maybe at 5-8k kms. I'm at 25k kms now.
Vancouver, BC. Weather...
gas cap? After I wash I'll do the whole drive around the block, brake, accelerate, several times, and then dry it. But still throughout the rest of the day it'll keep dripping (tail lights and rear emblem too). And if I ever forgot to dry it it leaves those annoying marks. I guess since the...
Sorry I know this has been asked a lot but I could've sworn the consensus was you just need to change oil when the light comes on as it takes into account driving style. (don't track it btw, temps fluctuate between -2 (winter) celcius to 30 (summer)
Ford dealer recommends every 6-8 months...
