Moderately loud wrenching/lurching sound when I put it into drive after park

Only the first time I do it for the day or session. Base 2015 mustang GT. issue only started happening the last couple months. No other issues.

Only happens at the beginning so like if I just take it into D (automatic) after its been sitting for a while. Not in traffic.

Sorry yes it is the brakes. New post:

2015 mustang GT. Brakes replaced under warranty around 2016. Only 24000kms total on car. Dont track it. Base model, not brembos.
When I first use the car, the brakes make a lurching,grinding,rubbing sound. Front brakes. It makes the sound when I let off the brake. 10x worse if I let off the brake slowly. Goes away after 5 minutes.
Any idea what this is? Sounds pretty alarming if you hear it. Will try to take a video next time.

My Scat Pack used to do this if i didn't drive it everyday. semi metallic brake pads rusting to the rotors, after a couple stops it was quiet.

no, steel rotors and semi metallic pads in a moist environment will rust. my Camaro did the same thing
