Got an update from my service department today. Engine should be here Friday. Quick turnaround if so. No questions asked - interesting as this just points to they know this is the drill. Wonder how long this will go on before anything major happens (recall) or they will just keep replacing...

I would agree. I had an oil change after every 3/4 track days. I am anal about it. We shouldn't have to worry about that and Ford would not do anything anyway. They are keeping this quiet and we will see what they say. My car is at the dealer. My service manager I work with (great guy)...

Just dropped it off at dealer. They have replaced 2 engines so far. He suspects new engine has a different OPG. Hmmm

Well....it happened to me today at the track. 3,000 miles. Was not pushing it when it happened. Rod thrown through the oil pan. Had the oil changed a few weeks ago and I checked the oil before I went to the track. It is sitting waiting for a tow truck to tack it to my service dealer.

It was Laser. Hand cut would have been a lot more $. It looks really good and mine is 100% track car so I am not too concerned about absolute perfection.

I have Vorshlag and have -3 but it can go more - not sure how much more. It is touching the sheetmetal at -3 so if you go more, you will have to make a modification.

Any comparisons to the R springs that are on the R yet? Looking for a bit more lowering and performance.

I had my spacers on and did not know it for a few hundred miles. Took them off and there was no need for recalibration
