If you do the driver side header and MAK deletes, just weld in some Vibrant Vbands so you can hot swap some cats on/off as needed after the first downturn of the pipes in the big flat area. Would be very simple and easy to access once installed without requiring MAK delete install/removal.
Thx for the heads up! Stainless with an OEM 11 header would be a no brainer for me. Only challenge yall might hit is pricing on the header. Take offs are only $50-$70 but they are $260 new oem shipped. Otherwise, fantastic idea.
Hi @AdrianMAK . Could MAK offer these pipes and the flange in 304 stainless by chance? Pics I've seen show some rust from them apparently being aluminized for folks that took them off and sold them so just was curious for longevity. I understand price may be a bit more, just curious. Thanks!
I would stay away from spacers tbh. I ran 19x10 SVE S350 wheels on the OEM 255/40R19's front and 275/40R19's in the back. This setup stretches the front a bit while not stretching the rear tires much since they are 275 vs 255. End result is less understeer (as Ford always builds in factory...
I run 305/35R19 Nitto NT05R's on a 19x11 SVE S350 wheel from LMR. Tire manufacturers will give you the range of appropriate wheel for each tire. For a 305 tire, you want between 10-12" on the wheel. 9.5" is too small per manufacturer to run on it. Might work but not recommended to try. The 35 of...
I am looking to purchase (low miles, undamaged/no mods only) please a 2011-14 style Mustang GT Driver's side exhaust manifold. I do not need the bolts or studs or gasket and I do not need the catalytic pipe downstream, nor the catalytic converters.
I can buy these new for about $270 shipped...
Thx for sharing. Interesting that folks say no revision is needed (Lung, Shaun @ AED, etc) but PBD said the logs needed revision. Just not enough detail to understand here. Think I'm gonna save my bucks and go MAK Cat Delete and be done with it. Way more gains all around and not terribly expensive.
Both were AFS porting jobs and they use a CNC porting method so should be extremely similar. I agree about differing dynos and base mods so the volume of increase could be different but I would expect a similar ratio for a similar CNC port model on the same intake as such. Could be wrong though...
Disclaimer: No discussion intended her for 2017 or older cars, only for 2018+ since thats what I've found a ton less info on.
In the search for truth and clarity here, wanted to break down what is known and unknown about ported 18 manifolds on ported 18+ manifolds. Too much partial or slightly...
So just to confirm from this thread, someone has actually swapped to a 2011-14 style driver's side manifold and installed it with the MAK deletes on an 15+ GT, meaning the flanges on the cat deletes and the manifold on the drivers side align as needed and it makes these deletes hot swappable vs...
My buddy put his 2018 A10 GT (Lund E85R, no other mods) on the dyno today and got these numbers. Incredibly close to yours on a DynoJet too, SAE correction, smoothing 5. Neat that you can swap to a 2011 manifold and direct bolt up the MAK's.
Here is his dyno, incredibly similar. Have you had...
Not sure if the tuning changes it or not. I would imagine a tune would adjust for the change if you had logs after removing it and then had the tune adjusted. I just know on a stock tune, it didnt work well.
