Don't underestimate the power of social media. Remember the Sonic movie that came out and there was an enormous outcry over the aesthetics? Guess what, they listened and improved it. I'm not saying that's what Ford will do but people discussing their lethargic attempts, which by the way is...
I reiterate it's all about looking "aggressive" and I concurred that the Mach 1 HP checks the box. My issue is with non-hp trim which offers nothing as far as aesthetics go for such a hefty price tag and that the HP should've been the standard model for the price. That's it.
This. The GT500 rear valance isn't specific to Mach. And just for the record, no one is bashing anyone's choice in cars or model. I'm just venting towards Ford's mediocarty. We should expect better from the manufactures and if we don't voice our frustrations, they will continue to pump mediocre...
Maybe you're a visual person.
If I didn't swap my PP2 spoiler and euro lights, the cars would look identical. That's not okay by my standards especially as new and special edition. I understand this is fine to many but to me and for my money, I want something different and unique.
It was a YUGE miss on Ford's part (backed up by financial numbers too). The original bullitt is STILL more aggressive and aesthetically better looking than the new gen. Big miss. I wouldn't be surprised if the Mach 1 #'s from Ford will be below Bullitt's. Aggressive sells. GT350 had both.
And I...
I'm not even going there...I was fine with all that. But if you're slapping parts from a parts bin at least be somewhat original/creative aesthetically speaking. Give it that differentiating factor over other models. Ford thinks they can shove it down our throats and charge 8-10k more. I...
The cars are slowly trickling into dealerships as we speak and you're surprised people have opinions on looks? They've literally had styling changes up until last month, changing the badging etc. I will never understand taking things personally over a car you own. Are people that insecure over...
And why not? I can voice my opinion and you have no idea if I'm in the market for Mach 1 or GT500. It's silly to take "pride" into a mass produced vehicle and not allow enthusiasts to express their viewpoints.
Of course, I'm not debating that. Aesthetically, I expected more. Hell, my rear end :giggle: looks the same as Mach 1 and I had it for almost 2 years now. The front? Eh. You think they could've been more creative to put out a banger.
I do have to agree with the minority that are unimpressed with the Mach 1. Personally, appearance is everything to me when looking into a specialty vehicle. When you look at GT350, it looks mean and it differentiates itself from a regular GT. The Mach 1 to me fails to deliver that factor...
No worries mate. Helping it move for your easier. Also try to list it on FB marketplace if you haven't already. FYI 10.5/11 kit fits all mustangs, zero issues. It's literally the OEM size for PP2. FRPP made the smaller version so you wouldn't need as wide a tire for non-track focused mustangs...

I swear I'm not doing it on purpose. New pair here. Summit racing WAS selling them for $1350 shipped for months but I just checked and they jacked their prices up to over $1700 although it may be because they have only 1 pair left.
