  1. Impression's of modern cruise nights

I hear ya, generally I try to strike up a conversation, some people just aren't interested. Last night was a good cruise night. As for the kids, agreed, parents have no control and apparently don't want control of their special little brat who is allowed to do as they wish to anything they...

  4. Impression's of modern cruise nights

Not my first rodeo, I've been the new guy plenty of times, including a cruise I stopped at last night. Completely different experience last night, the old guys all walked over to check out the car, was much like the times I remember from a decade ago.
  5. Impression's of modern cruise nights

A 4cyl Mustang that could probably beat many of those guys cars, what can ya do except give their ladies a ride! :D
  6. Impression's of modern cruise nights

Trust me, it was one of the hardest decisions to make but the tech bust had just happened and I was unemployed so it was the Chevelle or the house. Wife chose house, I was ready to move into the car.
  7. Impression's of modern cruise nights

Exactly, I guess I had my hopes up. Not giving up, I have found cruise nights for every night of the week, I'll find a good one yet.
  8. Impression's of modern cruise nights

    Can't delete this one...:frusty:
  9. Impression's of modern cruise nights

I've been going to cruise nights for the better part of 40 years (minus the past 9 years). The last one I went to was at a local McDonald's in 2009 that drew a huge amount of cars of all types. People walked around these cruise nights looking at all of the cars sharing stories and enjoying the...
  10. 2018 Carlisle Ford Nationals

Almost 700 miles, would love to but don't have the PTO.
  11. Brand new to muscle. Well, almost..

Agreed, as somebody who lived through the dark days of the 70's and 80's when cars came with 1 year 12,000 mile warranties and the cars were built like crap, we are spoiled today. Having said that every single Mustang mechanically for me since 1985 has been fantastic, any failure was caused...
  12. How many have now upgraded from a 2015-2017 to a 2018/19?

I bolded the main statement because it really is the crux of it. That's what they're doing, turning off the controls to show off for others, period. Clearly they are incapable of handling it either because of stupidity or lack of experience. Back when V8's made 150hp this was much less of an...
  13. Unsolicited Compliments

It's amazing how well they can do that!! I know exactly when those laser beams are focused, I call her crazy town, not just crazy, she is easily as crazy as an entire town of wives. I mean that in the most positive way of course. :D
  14. How many have now upgraded from a 2015-2017 to a 2018/19?

I guess I'm happy to have learned how to drive in actual 60's muscle cars where you either learned how to control with the throttle and no computer or you lost it. I learned how to control it and can't comprehend why people with no experience handling this much power insist on pretending they...
  15. well I made 653hp 18 a10

My main reason for a Vortech are similar to my 2006 Mustang, power comes on progressively and is less stressful on components and of course it's much less expensive. Car still hauls ass.
  16. ROYAL CRIMSON S550 MUSTANG THREAD

    Congrats!! :ford:
  17. well I made 653hp 18 a10

653 to the wheels is fantastic! How much was this configuration?
  18. How many have now upgraded from a 2015-2017 to a 2018/19?

What I don't understand, aside from driving like that with people around is the lack of taking their foot off of the pedal. You can steer these cars with the throttle but these drivers just keep the foot to the floor and I guess hope for the best. I watched some more of those videos...
  19. Hey guys

I live 1/4 mile from a gravel pit, cars don't stay clean for long, the house even gets dingy fast inside and out. Our water is very hard so I don't wash the car at home.
