Drag Mode in mine hits at what looks like 7600, gauge turns red, slams into 2nd, rinse repeat, bone stock, no tune.

I have the 20" Goodyears at 40psi, ran 1.9's consistently. I'm still of the belief that such short sidewall tires don't benefit from lowering pressure but going to try it the next time I go if it ever cools down.

Here is my slowest run, 12.5 because I chose sport mode. Here you'll see the tires break loose right before the tree lights up. [ame]

With power adders the half shafts like to snap, stock. :shrug:

In terms of putting power down sans anything else you have tires as the option and there are plenty of options for that. If you're worrying about breaking something by using DR's on a bone stock car, the odds are against anything breaking but when racing anything can happen so what level of risk...

The panel that houses the GT emblem I like as shown in the picture above with the script "Mustang", I think it looks classy.

I love the script, it enhances and gives a bit of elegance to the panel, this car is getting better and better! :thumbsup:

Keep in mind that "flash up" could also break the tires loose so it's a fine line. ;) I found I got 1.9's keeping the rpm's to around 1800/1900 or so, less flash up but also less spin from the same 20" Goodyears.

Agreed, I found in D drag mode works best and of course advanced trac off. It's getting hot out now so not sure when I'm going back to the track. I'm going to get a CAI and tune before the next track time.

Adv Trac on in my car, lost 3 to 4 tenths.... maybe the tune is worth it just for this?

Back in the day people weren't allowed to stand around by the starting line, these days they're friggin everywhere. I had to honk at some to get out of my way trying to stage the car! GLD needs to tighten up, that place is run too loose.

My 2013 Taurus Limited had cooled seats, they were awesome. My Mustang's cooled seats aren't the same, I believe it's just a fan blowing air through the seat which works fine but definitely not AC where the Taurus would frost the nether regions and my back pretty damn well.
