I'm a little surprised the door card isn't color matched to saddle or ceramic interiors. not the end of the world, but it's something that might end up bugging me enough to get it reupholstered.
bumping this up because I'd really like to get some opinions on what the Dark Saddle looks like in person, and how it compares to the current saddle. there are a few pictures out there, but some look like coffee brown and some almost look red (like the ones in the configurator, they like look...
speaking of which, does anyone know how Ford is going to be with the ECU? It used to be that you could flash a car back to stock when you brought it to the dealer and no one would be the wiser. These days it sounds like the ECU's have a way of tracking every time the ECU was rewritten so unless...
I've been wondering about the order number. I assume it's arbitrarily set by the dealer. Unless it's a coincidence that mine is the last 4 digits of my phone number. Hopefully it won't make a difference.
someone correct me if i'm wrong, but I definitely remember hearing that it send inverted waves of sound out that are supposed to cancel out the NVH from the engine and road. Not sure how well it'll even work, but that's what every form of active noise canceling is that I've ever heard of. No...
I had many of the same concerns and those are the same reasons I went with the ecoboost. When I went through and added up the (estimated) insurance difference, gas cost difference, payment difference, and taxes (damn you Connecticut!), it essentially amounted to an entire extra car payment...

just be happy you're not driving through my state!
If you want to see what it looks like search autotrader near you for all 2015 fords and put guard in the keywords box. The fusions are already popping up with it
Someone mentioned it being turned on and off through myford touch. Maybe that explains why not all fords and more specifically the s197 have this. Sounds like my question is answered for the 2015 though. Thanks!
I've always been jealous of people who can hold down the button on their remote and roll down all the windows in their car before getting in on a hot day. My friend's mini convertible actually can unlock and collapse the top this way. Does anyone know if they worked this into the software for...
It also could be that they use the same part on the left and right hand side. Easy cost cutting. Typical in all forms of engineering. Also probably easily remedied by anyone with a screwdriver.
I initially ordered guard but I just couldn't stomach not having seen it in person so I switched to a safer deep impact blue. I'm pretty sure I couldn't go wrong either way. All three look great on these pictures!
track apps are listed as standard on the V6, ecoboost states "All mustang V6 Content plus..." and all the features lists find their way back to the v6.
looks like all vehicles get track apps.
getting the ecoboost PP, probably what I'm going to do is swap winter tires onto the stock gloss black rims, as I'm not a huge fan. that will give me ample time to find some rims I like to put the summers back on.
but 2500 seems a bit much but not really obscene. $200 a tire sounds about...
My roommate has a new escape with MFT, and he said it did what GiddyUp says, however, the first time he set it up he clicked "no" for enable 911 assist, and the car would continually bother him about it every time he used the car until he changed it to "yes". So if you want it deactivated, it...
I find HD radio to be incredible annoying when I've had it. Maybe it's better now. for me It seemed like there was a small buffer created with HD, which makes sense for the digital signal. But when the signal is lost it bounces between HD and regular FM, causing the radio station to sound like...
Awesome 2+2! A good friend of mine has one that he and his brother use when they want to have some fun. They really are great cars, and way ahead of their time.

1995 Nissan 300ZX Convertible,
Cobalt Green Pearl, 116,000 miles, 1 of ~139 manual convertibles made in 1995. The car runs great. I bought it as a fun summer toy and that's what it has been. Now I'm just looking to move on and pick up the 2015 mustang.
100,000 mile service has been...
