  1. 2015 SEAN HYLAND MUSTANG GTS

Very nice, I was around 52k. would like to do this starting with a premium.
  2. Cross-shopping the S550 GT with a BMW M235i

ha, At first I was just glad the monitor did not obstruct my view of the road when I first sat in it, in fact it does not obstruct the view of the hood. The monitor eventually grows on you when you realize all the nifty crap you can display. Audi, Bmw and Merc are all putting their consoles...
  3. Cross-shopping the S550 GT with a BMW M235i

BMW reliability and some very costly repairs after warranty are certainly something to consider if you plan on keeping past the 4 years 50k miles of free maintenance. Perhaps the cost to replace various parts that get worn out when tracking the car should be factored in. Interesting note...
  4. Cross-shopping the S550 GT with a BMW M235i

traded in a 2012 5.0 for the M235i and was a bit surprised to find a LSD as a pricey add on. WTF BMW on that one but most folks are doing quite well without it but will admit they could do better with a mechanical LSD. It will be interesting to see how these two cars match up, the Mustang has...
  5. 2015 Mustang GT dynoed by Magnaflow

Yeah I can see 500 hp at the crank with full bolt ons with crazy gains like this from just a cat back. If true it makes me wonder what was Ford thinking with this exhaust setup leaving so much on the table? 6 - 10hp I can see but 30 to the wheels is crazy in this day and age. Just does not...
  6. Telegraph (UK) Review: GT & Ecoboost

There was a 6k price difference for me between the s550 and the f22 comparably equipped. With all the great reviews on the F22 I decided to take one out for a spin and pretty much never looked back. Stock for Stock its pretty damn close straight line performance wise and when you consider the HP...
  7. What kind of deal would get you to buy a '14 over a '15?

I was going to say it would have to priced attractive enough where I could flip it and not lose any money so it would have to be discounted pretty heavily to a carmax OTD trade price. At this stage in the game it would only be to save a buck would I get a s197 or if I was holding out for a...
  8. Do the Reviews Disappoint or Excite you?

How the release was handled and the nickle and dime'ing of information was a total turn off. Then at every turn there was no wow factor. Overall the reviews I have read have lacked enthusiasm and come off like big bro is watching. Still a kick ass car !!!!!
  9. This is my first Mustang. How did your first make you feel?

Funny. My 2012 full bolt on's left me feeling like I was king of the hill myself. Likelyhood of anybody spanking me on the streets were slim and none. It felt good.
  10. The Benefit of waiting....

You have to take the reviews with a grain of salt. It is interesting to compare notes but in the end it is our own review and opinion that matters but yes I do like to see favorable reviews. I would expect most reviews to be favorable as you can't please everybody but if all reviews are...
  11. Am I the only one???

Hoping for a auto specialty variant in 2017 or 2018.
  12. 2015 Mustang EPA DATA!!!! for most models.... UPDATE 2 ALL MODELS

+1. A EB6 would have been pretty damn interesting and would have stole the show. Nipping on the heels of the V8 and with some simple mods showing the v8 its tail lights. It certainly steals 5.0 sales and a lot of other car brand sales. The EB4 is not going anywhere, a EB6 will eventually...
  13. Limited v6 sales

If it can out perform the v6 and your ok with a v6 being called an American performance car, then why not? I say pump some faux engine noise into the cabin of that 4 banger and enjoy. IMO even v6's sound like crap compared to a v8.
  14. Anyone looking at an audi s3 as well?

and how often does he come over? I would not purchase based on blue moon needs. If it so happens that you like the S3 better would solve everything.
  15. 2016 SVT Automatic?

They certainly won't lose any sales by giving people the option, I would argue that sales would increase. When you start talking performance times, the auto makes perfect sense for Ford to deliver a faster 0-60 1/4 mile car which in turn will impact sales.
  16. Hoping for AWD in the future

As the mustang continues to evolve, AWD is not that far fetched down the road. What Ford should consider is a flagship Lincoln AWD sports coupe built on the S550 platform with the SVT engine.
  17. Short & Sweet Ride Along In A LE Today.

One of the coolest stories I have read in a while. Nice shots.
  18. Anyone looking at an audi s3 as well?

Not sure if they were holding back on the M2 during its Nuburgring runs but the SVT was way more impressive going around the ring than the M2. I think the SVT will be faster on the drag strip and the track and is going to be one kick ass ride.
  19. Why I Switched From 5.0 to Ecoboost.

On the Mustang build site, my build comes in at 42,300. As much as folks want to compare the mustang to the m3 or m4, the M235i is the real competition due to the price points.
  20. Anyone looking at an audi s3 as well?

It is an interesting car worth consideration. If they had a coupe version I would have been more interested, I just don't need the 4 doors and wanted sportier looks. This will be a sleeper car no doubt. I was giving the S5 more thought and it is amazing what a pulley change and tune...
