  1. Noisy pebbles

Somehow this thread became a bashing/lesson on the use of summer tires in winter temps. :focus: Back to the OP's original concern, I can't offer solace or a solution but I notice the same with mine. I cringe constantly. It's like I can hear the paint being sandblasted, but there's so far...
  2. Roush, MMD Foose, CDC Outlaw rear spoiler

I use RainX window cleaner on my deck lid panel. It drastically reduces the amount of dust it collects, but does not eliminate it entirely. The proof came when I did a cruise with four other local S550 owners. The first thing they asked at our first stop was what I did to keep the dust off my...
  3. Can y'all help me out maybe ....

Beautiful car. You got my vote.
  4. MMD Foose spoiler

Keep them, with minor alteration... I would actually alter the stripes in a different way...by making them longer. I prefer stripes that run from the splitter to the diffuser. This, with the black spoiler and black heat extractors for the win. Whichever way you choose I look forward to...
  5. New Guy, New Car, New Stripes

Hey, Hondo. Glad I could help with the decision. Great looking CS and excellent choice on the stripes. I was hoping to see you at Cars & Coffee last Saturday, but I guess you didn't make it. We need to meet up after you get that Foose spoiler worked out. We've got some local meets and...
  6. DFW Sighting

Thanks! You should try to join us for some of the local meets or cruises. Keep an eye on the DFW subforum. See you around.
  7. DFW Sighting

Now my turn. In addition to the common stock S550s I see daily, there was an OW one on SB 820 in the far right lane just past the White Settlement Rd exit this moring at 8:15-ish. It caught my eye because of the blacked out tail lights, but I couldn't catch up since I was at my exit and...
  8. DFW Sighting

What color and where on 820? Could have been me. I'm on 820 daily between 287/Saginaw Main and White Settlement Rd. I'm DIB with stripes, aftermarket wheels, and plates that read 5.OHMFG. I probably see three or four S550s on the way to work in the mornings, and two or three on the way home.
  9. Breaking necks/compliments

I donated some old furniture to my neighbor a couple months ago, and she sent her 17 year old grandson to pick it up that evening. When I opened the garage door to help him load the furniture, he said, "Oh, that's dirty!", referring to the Mustang. It was the first time I'd heard that word used...
  10. Any negative comments toward your Mustang?

This. At least it's a late S197. My dad can't seem to tell the difference between any of the "new" Mustangs. He's constantly pointing out early S197s (2005-2009) and saying, "Look, there's a Mustang like yours." But this same man can spot a 65 Fastback 289 with a 4-Speed from a mile away with...
  11. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

    Phở. King. Beautiful.

  13. Howler Coyote F/R Badges - PLEASE READ 1st PAGE FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FAQ!

I ordered a black nickel/black and a black nickel/blue, but after seeing the photos of the actual badges, I'm really digging the black nickel/white. I think it'll look killer in the grill with my white pinstripes. OySmallFry@SCS If you happen to have any extra BN/W that aren't already claimed...

  16. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Thanks! There's a full thread about them with more pics here.
  17. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Just got done installing my Steeda CAI also, along with the kazoo delete.
  18. Someone stole my friend's “50 Years” badge

They're not so much plastic welded as they are plastic riveted. The badge contains plastic posts on the back that are melted behind the panel after install. It's relatively easy to break the plastic rivet or post, although there is also a good risk of breaking the badge in doing so.
  19. M6G Hoodies & T-Shirts!

Ordered one deep royal tee. A little pricey for a Hanes tee with a small screen print image, but I support the effort nonetheless.
