I have an A6 with a Novi2200 and it is very lazy off the line. I am at 5200' elevation so the thin air hurts quite a bit. I use a Pbox to record my data and the best on the street with zero spin is a 2.0 sixty ft. It will blow the tires away on the top of first about 7k rpm, but for the most...
Like Pinero61 said earlier, resonators. I have SW long tubes and 3" Flowmaster exhaust all the way back. Put a pair of resonators on yesterday and what a difference. Still sounds healthy, but totally tamed down the annoying peak drone.
Typically corrected numbers at elevation show much more power on the readings then at sea level. Some manufacturers love to show the huge dyno numbers, specially those with boost.
Good luck on getting true e85. Local where I am at, we never get the full e85. We are e66-67 at the moment and the best I have seen his mid 70s. I would think allot of the gas stations selling e85 get the same deliveries.
Hell yeah, he is top notch! Have known Chris for about 20 years. Definitely a great tuner and very honest business owner in the performance automotive industry.
Hotter months typically show lower actual readings, but have higher correction numbers. Colder months show higher actual readings and lower corrected numbers. Just depends on if your using SAE or STD factors. Local to me in high elevation summer months, the dyno's in our area will show sometimes...
That might buff out, jk man. Sorry to hear, but when your dealt lemons, turn it into lemonade. Find a good body shop that will work with you and get some upgraded parts. Maybe get a nice wing while your at it.
So you are launching at 2000-2400 on the stock converter and hit that sixty foot? That is damn crazy. I guess the TVS hitting instant boost is a huge effect on that launch.
The conservative tune is going to be the big hold back. What rpms is this tune shifting at? I am still in the process of dialing in my Lund tune on my Paxton kit and they really raise the shift point up with the centrifugal setup. Shift at 7400-7600. I wonder if your tune is short shifting?
Hmm.....I put brand new wheels and tires with new TPMS for the 15s and had to do the relearn process. Funny thing was, I would put the tool on the tire right on the side where the valve stem was and it would not pick up. Had to do it directly across the entire tire.
