I have a 2015 GT (not PP) and am looking at getting the 18" wheels shown here.
http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_garage/BigPic.jsp?wheelMake=Advanti+Racing&wheelModel=FS+Fastoso&wheelFinish=Black+w%2FMachined+Undercut
They closely resemble the 19" PP wheels, which is the style I am looking for...
Glad that a test drive got your head on straight.
I didn't even need a test drive to know a 4 or 6 cylinder is not on my list.
If not for the V8, my $$$ would have been spent on something other than a Mustang, most probably a used Cadillac CTS-V.
I like it.
What about black for the rear view mirrors?
Putting similar hood stripes on mine and have the chrome badging blacked out.
Wheels will be the finishing touch.
It would sure be nice if a separate area could be added for Forced Induction on the 5.0 engine.
As things sit, lots of threads in the 5.0 engine modification area have to do with forced induction but it is getting a bit confusing mixed in with the other stuff.
Once additional engine modification...
I was waiting for the 2016 until I decided that the yellow would probably be 2015 only since they seem to only do it every few years.
If not for that I would have waited in the hope that the Performance Package might be available with the automatic transmission.
If I knew for sure that the PP /...
I copied and pasted the URLs and took a look at the pictures since I intend to do the same with mine.
Finished car looks great.
What is the rust on the rotors? Power washer to clean the painted parts?
Pretty darn great numbers for a bone stock Vette as well.
Who would have thought you could walk into a Chevy dealership and drive away in a 10 second car.
For me it had nothing to do with weight.
I want the car to be as quiet as possible.
Took out the sound tube but can't really tell any difference.
There might be some difference if compared side by side.
I am envious of you folks who are good candidates for lasik.
A few years ago I checked with two different places and got the same "Nope" story from both. My eyes are just too jacked up. They can clear up things a bit but not enough for me to get away from glasses.
Thanks for the information.
Can you go into a bit more detail on the install?
Was it just slide one off a bar and slide the other on or are there screws involved?
Anything special to do the removal such as "twist here" or "remove this plastic piece first"?
I am a real klutz and usually manage to...
Thanks for the information.
I will check into powder coating.
If the cost ends up being excessive I will just return to my original plan of buying a set of GT PP take-off's.
Excellent video.
Just the information I needed to remove mine.
Only difference was that mine required a 7mm socket to remove the four screws.
Now hopefully the flat black GT emblem I ordered shows up tomorrow.
My GT has the standard 18" wheels.
After some consideration I have decided they are acceptable if made the same color of black as the PP wheels.
What is the best looking and most durable way to achieve that look.
Additionally, what is the proper paint to use on the brake piston housing to...
Better be careful asking for internet advice.
These things vary from state to state.
What will get you a pat on the back in my home state of Oklahoma can get you put in prison for a very long time in some other states and even can vary within a state.
In some parts of the state we have DA's that...
I understand your point........but........ lots of people are in different situations that just don't allow full time concealed carry.
By state law I can keep mine in the car in the parking lot at work but company policy does not allow me to actually carry while at work.
My compromise is to...
