Thanks for doing a baseline run with 87 octane on a factory car.
I personally run 87 all the time and have been wondering what numbers the car puts out with 87 vs 89 vs 91.
Since you did that run before a tune and then better octane before and after tune, I know I am giving up less than 10 hp...
I have looked it over but can't figure how to remove it.
No big deal because I figure out how to remove the little yellow tab that I am wanting to paint.
Like has been mentioned, I mix and match.
Actually have two emergency kits, one for car related stuff and one for me stuff.
For the car kit I bought a real good one from WalMart.
For the "Me" kit, I bought a cheap day pack and put some items in it that will be useful if the car breaks down and I...
Like the title says, I am wanting to see and hear a 2015 GT clip with a supercharger installed and running thru the factory exhaust.
Looking for the least amount of noise while idling and driving normally.
Stealth mode, if you will.
Idling with the hood closed and a drive away would be...
Not true In all cases.
I have an Infiniti G35 as my other car and alignment with it is a real problem.
The car tracks and stops fine but alignment issues cause "scalloping" with it. Basically, the tires get real noisy and wears unevenly across the surface contact of the tire due to the rear end...
It won't look good if you paint it in place cause it is down amongst the other engine pieces.
I disconnected the short upper hose and plugged the ends with tape so they wouldn't drip.
The two screws were removed then the piece can be lifted out of the keeper tab with plenty of movement for the...
I painted mine a few days ago.
Easy to remove if you don't mind making a bit of a mess.
Painted it but left a small strip on the rear to view the fluid.
Looks like the picture so now I am happy.
I just started having the same issue with mine today.
Really strange.
I hear the click like it is unlocking but the door stays locked until I use the fob button.
Happened twice today but worked fine a few minutes ago.
Would it be a good idea to move this thread to one of the general topics?
It will probably get more views and interest there if the road trip idea is open to all S550 owners.
I have been thinking there is a selectable rain mode with the base GT (no toggle switches) but while looking over the menu's on the screen in the dash I cannot find anything.
The button under the stereo just turns traction control on or off.
Is there a menu or button that I have overlooked?
Like the title says, I want to know the proper procedure for removing the glove box and owners manual compartment tray.
Specifically, I want to remove the yellow plastic tab that closes the owners manual tray and paint it black because the bright yellow tab in the glove box offends me.
If I...
Any chance you could do a video of them sitting side by side and running? I would sure like to hear the difference in sound between the two systems with factory exhaust.
Always seems to be something.
Modifications lead to more modifications which lead to broken parts which leads to more modifications.
Been there, done that.
According to a different thread, if you actually get some tires and a good tune you will probably be needing a new clutch shortly.
Don't forget about the X-plan pricing
I joined the Mustang Club of America and used their code to get X-Plan on mine.
No hassles and a known discount price with no surprises.
Best new car purchasing choice I ever made.
Does anybody have a picture of the factory clear plastic radiator overflow container?
I am debating on painting mine matte black and leaving a 1/4" vertical stripe unpainted to get a visual indicator on liquid level.
