Based on the size and shape of the prototype in the spy shots, this is pretty much what I had in mind too.
The render is near perfect for a modern interpretation of New Edge design IMO. It's got a little of the Evos, a little Aston, and plenty of Mustang styling in it to call it a complete...
Looks like it's onto the next event .....
If nothing was teased at Woodward I dont see it happening in any of the smaller events.
LA our next hope maybe
It's a Jaguar render that I altered a bit. Just needs some muscle which I don't have the skills to do.
This pretty much is my ideal lineup too except I'd still like to see a S/C for the SVT to make more power. It'll need it to compete against the Camaro performance variants.
An Eco 3.5 would...
BTW,
Me... I'm one of the few maybe that think it should stay the same size. You want a smaller car go buy a Genesis coupe. The weight is a different issue but dimensions wise I want to see muscular size if it's not gonna get that in the design department.
For the look, I want something...
Keep them on as long as there are not other compromises made just to keep them standard. If we go back to halogens, they can have their sequential lighting.... id rather have the HID's if that's the choice.
There are kits out there for 05-09's for sequential lighting so I'm thinking there...
If you were on the design team of the 2015 Ford Mustang, what would you do? Would you add more luxury features or keep the Mustang a pure drivers car? Make it more aggressive or more refined? Make it bigger or smaller? etc...
I know a lot of us wish they could just give us the easel and let...
Shared components I can see. That's subjective and can mean anywhere from one part to many but to say it "will pretty much be the same rear suspension" as the Fusion/MKZ is a stretch. Maybe it's just the way he phrased it.
Were you guys at AM able to dig a little deeper by contacting this...
S197 full fastback would look like this.
The fastbacks have always been more of an option not standard. I think it's more special that way. I would bet money that the GT350 comes in a full fastback and the regular s550 is a semi-fastback like the S197.
Not that I know of but then again I'm not big on the other Ford car forms. Any one like Settlemire is gonna be a true fanboy who won't mind constant prodding from other members, far as i know he does it for the total love of it... isn't asked to do it, doesn't get paid for it etc. He knows his...
I like your thinking, I can see that happening.
While we're at it, offer a unique pony interior package with special 50th ponies printed on the seats & dual exhaust tips just like the 65's. What I'd really like to see is 3 body styles, but we know that's very unlikely.
It's a very sexy car but I think it shares very little traditional mustang cues. No hockey stick, no separate 1/4 window, no headlights set in the grille, etc
I want more sports car, not pure sports car. Gotta leave at least a bit of heritage in there to please traditionalists, throw them a...
Already more advanced prototypes out there and it's not unusual to see mules still driving around. Whether or not they're still testing anything new on it I would doubt it.
This one still has the same exhaust cutouts/sensors. Look to be some pretty big wheels on them too.
Definitely, but a leak is really unlikely to come from anyone working directly on the S550. These AAI guys aren't stupid and most are lifers, this isn't the first song and dance for most, and many of them come from a family with a long line of people working for the Big 3 so they know the whole...
To an extent yea. You can only do so much to disguise it to look like the previous generation. There's no way they could've made the 05 prototypes look like there was a '04 hiding under there no matter how much padding they used. Point is, the S550 should be more similar to the S197 than the...
I couldn't agree more with this. Nothing irks me more than to have a bigger, longer-lasting and more loyal fan base than those guys but nothing even close to the kind of community and events that they put on over there. This kind of goes back to my original post. Ford just doesn't communicate...
