  1. Shelby Venice wheels

I agree 28 lbs is kinda hefty for a forged 19" wheel. But $1500 for the set is a good price. I would get a set for my 2017 GT, but the engraved "SHELBY" ruins it for me. That is like slapping a "turbo" badge on a car that is obviously not a turbo :tsk:
  2. SVE R350 wheels

    19x10 is 25.5 lbs 19x11 is 24.2 lbs
  3. RPI Designs 2015 2016 Ford Mustang ROUSH Hood Heat Extractors

I have been thinking about getting these. A set of Grabber Blue will have a glossy finish like the hood, correct?
  4. Will upgrading the rear brakes affect ABS system?

You obviously have not driven a Challenger SRT8. If you *breathe* on those brakes, it will stop.
  5. Will upgrading the rear brakes affect ABS system?

I had a Challenger SRT8 with Brembos, and the difference is astounding. I don't like the (relative) softness of the Mustang brakes.
  6. Will upgrading the rear brakes affect ABS system?

I have a 2017 GT Premium automatic. I wanted the bigger brakes of the PP, but I am lazy and don't feel like rowing gears in Houston traffic. So I am thinking about upgrading the brakes. The stock rear rotors are already laughably small compared to the front, and the difference will be...
  7. Is an oversized radiator worth it?

The larger radiator is definitely doing its job. Your data makes me lean towards pulling the trigger on it. Ideally, I would measure temps before & after installation. But I don't have the time nor resources to install it myself, so all of the work will be done at a speed shop, where time is...
  8. Is an oversized radiator worth it?

My daily driver is a 2017 GT Premium, automatic. I have a Whipple Stage 2 coming in a couple of weeks. I am thinking about getting a Mishimoto oversized radiator. I live near Houston and the summer heat is insane, especially in stop & go traffic. Would an oversized radiator be worth the trouble...
  9. Looking to Stiffen up the Suspension

I have the same dilemma. Scouring the forums reveals two main options: Steeda's "Stop The Hop" kit, or BMR's CB005 kit. My 2017 GT Premium will (probably) never see the track, but I want to tighten up the rear end. Decisions, decisions...
  10. Ummm what?!? Dealer has a NEW LE???

At $48190, they will be keeping it for a while...until they find a desperate buyer wanting never-titled, 2-year old Mustang. You can get a 2018 GT Premium with extras for that much. And for another $12k, you can get a new GT350.
  11. FS Satin Black Velgen VMB5 w/ Nitto G2

I wish I lived closer to you. Shipping would kill the deal. Glws
  12. Whipple oversized HE + Mishimoto radiator clearance issues?

I ordered a Whipple Stage 2 kit with the oversized heat exchanger. I am also considering a Mishimoto performance radiator, which is almost twice the thickness of the stock radiator. Does anyone else have the same setup? Any clearance issues?
  13. grills vs heat / IAT

Can you post the link here? I am sure others would like to see it too. Thanks!
  14. Solo Mach XV to Corsa Sport

Great write-up. I agree with everything you said about Corsa. It definitely has a greater "dynamic range" than many other setups. Corsa at WOT is a symphony of engine sounds -- the cam, the valves, the pistons -- all working together as designed. Most of the competitions' offerings only amplify...
  15. Mishimoto Radiator, Oil & Transmission Cooler Install on a Whippled car

I am thinking about doing these mods. If you can repost photos, I would really appreciate it. Thanks
  16. Performance pack wheels- used only for a week.

    Still available?
  17. how bad do s550's get rock chips on long trips

Unless you live in the middle of nowhere, any vehicle driven on public roads will get chips from debris. The only way to guarantee no paint chips is to not drive it. I always have a clear bra installed on new vehicles. It isn't cheap, but it goes a long way to preventing paint chips. If you are...
  18. Rally Innovations Fog Light Conversion

Looks good  I may do the Sport 1800 lumens. The Pros seem a little bright for street use, I don't want to blind oncoming traffic.
