Where should I start?

There should be repairs to the runners. Whether or not the solenoid, sensor, or valve needs to be replaced. Shouldn't just automatically need a whole new manifold every time I wouldn't think.

Is there a common issue for this repair? Anyone have this issue before?

I don't mind switching to the 8" unit. The issue is the 1,000+ price tag.

I don't have the premium system. Just the 4 inch display, a door speaker, and a pillar speaker. There's almost no bass in the car, and the quality is terrible. Obviously the head unit I want to replace at some point, but for now, it will have to do. What's a good replacement for the speakers...
