  1. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Yeah but with those mods, do 3.55 and a tune with rev limit raised and you're all set. If I could have had 3.55s, I'd have done it. Even 3.31s with 18s could have been worked out. At my altitude at home isn't bad but I expect Lincoln to be exciting trying to put power down.
  2. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

9 days before I leave for Nats seems like a great time to for a massive change. Koni double adjustable strut insert project started last night. Thanks to Chris, Dick, and Sam for the info/parts. I'll finish the spacer setup on Monday night and paint them over the weekend. Hopefully install...
  3. Cone 502 Racing - 2015 Mustang GT/PP Build

Indeed. I'm finally getting around to building my front Koni DA struts tonight. Ran out of time and money to get 285s or lighter wheels. Still should be fun at Nats. In less than two week's we'll know the FS results. :)
  4. Cone 502 Racing - 2015 Mustang GT/PP Build

You'll probably get more on the acceleration, mine was done at 5500'. The 1.3G braking was from 68mph down to about 40, fairly hard braking and downshift.
  5. Any New Mexicans?

I didn't see this thread before. I'm in Rio Rancho.
  6. Holes in your front bumper

I've used these on a few cars, always happy with the result.
  7. Cone 502 Racing - 2015 Mustang GT/PP Build

Once you free up the rear on entry, the car gets a lot better. The OE tires aren't so great and mine chunked within just 20 autox runs. The RE71R are even better on this car than on the other cars I've autoxed on them due to their large increase in longitudinal grip: OE tires, autox on banked...
  8. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Back from a 2 day event in Farmington. If you don't know the venue from Pro Solos/Tours, its about a 11 acre lot at 5500' above sea level, sloped from long end to long end. Friday I managed to catch the tail end of a TnT they were running to scrub my tires and let the co-driver take the slalom...
  9. S550 Rear Rear Shock Dyno Graphs - Base VS Performance Pack

Just changing the rear shocks makes a very big difference.
  10. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Hey Dick, Yeah thanks for the reminder, but this is not my first car on the RE71Rs, I was developing that MR2 Spyder until it was sold and helping two local SS Elises and a WRX, etc. We found it takes about 5-10 runs (heatcycles) to get them to prime though the WRX was fast out of the box for...
  11. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Yup. No issues, same as what everyone else has done at one point I think.
  12. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

I finally mounted the 275/35/19 RE71Rs on the car and headed out of town for a two day event this weekend. I didn't get all the parts in time to do my front double adjustable shock conversion. Going to decide on Monday about a lot of stuff based on this weekend.
  13. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

I don't think gearing is the problem. It doesn't help but IMO isn't a game changer. The car simply doesn't transition as well.
  14. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

It pivots. I rotated the brake line to give a little more clearance to it after the pic, I used a regular box wrench to snug it up. Besides, doesn't everyone have a cordless impact ready to go for sway bar adjustments. :P
  15. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

That took me about 15 seconds.
  16. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Maybe you saw mine on Facebook. I unbolted the 2 piece brake line bracket and reassembled the one piece flipped.
  17. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

FS pax is super soft this year because no one could have predicted the grip gains of the RE71R/Rival S over just last year's tires. Compound that fact with the M3/2015 GT have raised the average speeds and it's not hard to PAX well this year. All Street classes got faster so I suspect there will...
  18. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

The RE71R like to have closer to 30 runs before they hit optimal. I'll have about 40 when I take first runs at Nats if plans hold up. Like I said, after having a twin of Laughlins car run here, I'm highly discouraged about what Nats will be like for the other cars especially after seeing his...
  19. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Definitely start in F Street (FS). You can do the shocks, a single swaybar, tires on stock dimensions wheels (+/- 1" stock diameter, +/-7mm stock offset). The car is good on stock shocks and the stock tires aren't horrible.
  20. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Yes, Endlinks are open on the same end you change the sway bar. EDIT: Didn't see Dick replied already. I'm using the Strano rear bar on on the middle hole.
