I think you're going to be wrong about the dash. It's its a completely different part, no 3rd vent. That's definitely an update/backdate or package swap to get that dash change done and no Street or ST legal. I served on various rules committees for years, while not the end all for this kind of...
I get what you are saying but here is the GT PP breakdown:
• Strut-tower brace
• Larger radiator
• Unique chassis tuning
• Upsized rear sway bar
• Heavy-duty front springs
• Interior gauge pack (oil pressure and vacuum)
• K brace
• Brembo™ six-piston front brake calipers with larger rotors
•...
I rarely am able to do very scientific tests. So usually I go by feel and how I did relative to some very consistent competition here. I think if the 35mm bar will work, it will be on its softest setting and I think your rear toe is close, you would just need some front rebound and rear...
You ran it on soft I assume, the other holes are huge jump. 35mm bar?
Definitely. I've been busy this last year with non-autox stuff so I've cut down on Pros and thats a long way off anyway.
We run most months of the year here but only one event left this year on the big lot (Farmington) the second weekend of October. No worries. What's the spec on front bar?
Can I rent your front bar? After our talk and with my shocks it actually sounds like I can fix several of your complaints. Not sure it will be better but definitely worth exploring.
I almost didn't go myself but friends talked me into it reminding me how much fun I would have. I'm glad I went more so for the people but the result was great too.
Also, you might be aware of this keep in mind one of the fastest guys in the sport and a great instructor is in your area and...
The 2015 GT Options right now are FS, Cam-C, ESP, SM, etc.
Personally I think it would be more interesting if everything Fox body and later was in STP. The only thing I would like to see outside the normal ST rule set is rear gear ratio changes. This would help the camaros a bit thought 18s...
You'll go much faster on Bridgestones than the Star Specs, much more longitudinal grip which makes a huge difference and 2nd gear a lot more usable. Stock the car is lacking in front grip as you probably have read, definitely worth the effort getting the allowed camber mod done.
I've talked to Lee over the years a bit but this was the first year I needed his help fixing my homebrew Koni double adjustable front struts. He was extremely helpful and we talked about the design of what I had and how the new ones would be. He went above and beyond and charged me nothing for...
I have never heard of someone who was involved with this not being happy about the experience. Lee is a good guy and I assume he's directly involved. However if you are that worried, I'd say pass.
Yup 20" is an option to but with nothing in the pipeline from Bridgestone, I'm more interested in 18" though I'll probably just see if I can make 3rd work on the 19" sizes. Dropping 30+ pounds in wheel weight is probably a good start.
