Sounds and looks great. I run these on my 14 GT with a set of resonator delete GT500 OTA pipes. IMO, these are the biggest bang for your bucks, especially back when you could get them for a little over $300.

When I first got the original four chamber UPR can that sat on the radiator hose, I would get liquid oil at the outlet connector. When they came out with the SS ring that went on the diffuser tube and I mounted it at the firewall, I only got a slight film.
But I did modify my can by adding...
If it just had a slight film of oil, then it is on par with the Bob's can because that is what I get with that one. I also only got a film with the four chamber UPR can but I added some additional SS mesh to the bottom of that can so the oil would get trapped down in the can.
I may end up...
You are correct but unless someone had the time and money to do an extended test running identical cars with identical engines with one using a can and the other not, it really is just speculation on all of our parts on whether there is any long term benefit to using one.
Like I said above, I...
No catch can is 100% effective so yes, you will get some oil into your intake but depending on what brand you run and how effective it is, you can greatly reduce how much makes it to the intake so for me personally, it isn't a waste of money.
As far as your foam example, I definitely think...
Joe,
Any idea when the new solid diffuser rings will be ready for the four Chamber cans? Are you replacing all of the perforated rings with solid rings or are you keeping some perforated? I want to try out the new solid ones to see how much of a difference it makes.

Since it's been nice here all week, I have been driving the Mustang since Tuesday evening and have put on almost 200 miles since then. I plan on putting some more miles on it before checking it but I have not decided how many more.

The stock system on a N/A engine does not keep the air clean going into your intake. Take off your stock PCV lines and look inside the ends of them. There will be oil there.
Now with that being said, I don't think anyone is suggesting that your engine won't live a long life without using a...
I'm with a lot of others here. When I bought my 14 GT, I purposely bought a base model even though I could afford the premium. I found that on past vehicles with a lot of comfort and convenience options, I just didn't use them plus like others have said, the more electronic stuff you have, the...
Congrats on the new car. My local dealer has a 2015 CO 50 years appearance package GT discounted down to $35,000 from $43,200. They have had this car a long time plus it got caught in a hail storm last year but they used dent less repair to fix it and you can't even tell.
I love the orange...
That is crazy. I wonder what is going on at Bob's to continue to have these types of mistakes. He has a great product but things like this certainly can make people question whether or not to do business there.
I installed mine today on my 2014 GT. I didn't have to trim the engine cover and none of the wires interfered with anything. I chose not to stretch the cam wires so I could put the clip in the hole on the separator mounting bracket but it sits fine without doing so.

No, my car is a 2014 and it's mounted at the firewall. When I got my can, I don't think they were offering the drain plug on any of their newer four chamber cans.

My can has no provisions to add a ball valve. I don't have the plug like I've seen in some pictures. I would have to drill the correct size hole in the bottom of my can and I'm not about to do that.
The ball valve setup is one thing I really like about my Bob's can.
Wayne
That wasn't even an option when I got my can or I would have gotten one.
That is kind of the problem with the continued updates and improvements. Sometimes you now longer have the best.
