I have the locking plug on my 14 GT and it was one of the first things I bought for it. I mainly bought it to keep dirt and other stuff out of it.

This was my experience exactly. When I went to buy my Mustang, the local dealer only had one GT on the lot and it was a manual which I did not want. They also have a bad rap on pricing and can always be beat elsewhere.
I ended up going to a dealer about 60 miles away to buy my car. When I...
Congrats on the new car. As far as trannies go, I don't really like driving manuals and have never felt connected to any manual tranny car I've driven including my fiancee's 07 Mustang GT with the five speed manual. To me, driving a manual tranny is a pain in the ass and I hate it in stop and...
This right here. I've had my 14 GT for almost four years with only 25,700 miles on it. While it is not a once in a lifetime purchase, I do have a 70 mile a day round trip drive to work and back and that puts a lot of miles on a car plus this car is the most expensive vehicle I have ever...
This was my experience with Mobil 1 back in the early 2000's and is one of the reasons I quit using this oil. I use Motorcraft 5W-20 in my 14 GT and have no oil consumption issues.

I think you will have issues with this type of exhaust as time goes on. Rust usually gives problems as time goes on, especially those that live in northern states and drive their cars during the winter. The heat of the exhaust system would probably cause electrical parts to have issues as time...
Because they still may not be the best choice. I ran the FP catch cans on my 2014 GT for over a year and was still getting liquid oil in the line past the catch can. Previously to the FP can, I was running a Bob's can which never had liquid oil in the line past the can, only a slight oil film...
I guess it depends on how important having a V8 is and whether you want the V8 sound. For me both of these things are important and is why I would never consider a turbocharged 4 or a V6 in this car.
My previous car was a 2004 Supercharged Monte Carlo SS Dale Jr. edition with the 3800 V6 and...
I still prefer the look of the s197 over the s550 but the s550 has grown on me. I hated it's look at first. On the three s550 cars I have test drove, none of them impressed me enough to lose money and trade in. I liked the brakes and seats better on the s550 but that was about it. My car is...
I just reinstalled my Bob's can on my 14 GT after finding liquid oil in the exit line of my Ford Performance can. I have never found liquid oil in the exit line of the Bob's can, just a very slight film.
Not all cans are the same no matter how much oil they catch. If you find liquid oil in...
I just reinstalled my Bob's can on the passenger side of my 14 GT. I had been running the Ford Racing one and when I went to drain it today, I checked the line coming out of the can and it had liquid oil in it. My Bob's can has never had liquid oil in the exit line plus it's way easier to...
I tend to keep vehicles a long time. I still own my second car, a 70 Monte Carlo bought in 1987 and my 98 chevy ext-cab Z71 that I bought new. I have a few other vehicles that I've had for over ten years.
I don't know about this 14 GT though. I still like the car but it's got some tire wear...
Nice car and congratulations. I would love to own one. There are Hellcats all over the place around here. Supply has exceeded demand.
I don't think I could ever pay that much for a car. They sticker for more than I paid for my house 25 years ago. I just have to live vicariously through...
I have never bought gap insurance but then again, I have always financed way less than what the car is worth right off the lot. If you get a crappy deal and/or don't have some type of down payment like cash or a trade-in, then you probably need gap insurance.
I personally don't buy a vehicle...
You might do a search. It seems there was a post not long ago from someone who did go from the Challenger to the Mustang.
I'd like to try out the Challenger myself and almost bought one back in 2013 instead of my Mustang.
I'm not a Corvette fan so that choice would be out for me. Between the Camaro and the Mustang, it would be a toss up. I've driven a 16 Camaro SS and it feels more powerful than the current generation Mustang GT.
I'm still on the fence about the looks of the Camaro so for me the Mustang...
Does anyone have any pictures of the inside parts of the newest versions of the UPR four chamber cans? Here are some pictures of mine from my can that is two years old. I keep hearing that they changed the inside design a little and that they use solid diffuser plates instead of the perforated...
