Politeness rules! My LEO buddy is always preaching that to me. Buttholes get tickets, nice and respectful folks get mostly warnings.
I'm too chicken shit really to be rude, lol! But, I am doubling down though. I just ordered a personalized support for First Responder plate ;-)
My last two cars were Audi S5s, one manual, one Triptronic. I enjoyed that manual greatly, and much more than the Triptronic. So, I have a bit of experience with manuals, especially since being stationed in Europe, that's pretty much all them jokers drive over there.
But, I too am still...
My local dealer had an ADM of $10k on my GT350, which he sold me for MSRP. He currently has a Blue Raptor for $10K ADM, and a Blue Focus RS for $5K ADM.
I wasn't casting any aspersions your way brother. I thought you gave your good point of view. And having no personal experience with the Vette, could only offer what I read. I only referenced the features/amenities because that was the biggest disparity, yet the GT350 still earned...
If you can get your hands on a February 2016 Car and Driver, there's a head to head with the Z51 and the standard GT350. GT350 wins...including a 2 - 10 loss in Features/Amenities.
JL also makes a flat mount sub, which I had installed in the spare tire well. Because of needed air volume, they had to have it a sit bit above the trunk floor. So, they replaced the flimsy cover with a wooden one to even the grill with the floor. That was the intent anyway, it's still about...
Congratulations! It's addictive. I've had mine just a month, not planning to daily drive it, and already have just under 2k miles! I estimated only 10k for insurance purposes. That's getting busted!
BTW, mine was built 1 September, and is number H1832. That's a fair amount built in 2+ days.
Congratulations! Texas seems to be the state for deals. My research found several there at least at MSRP. But, I thought 30 August was the cutoff for the recall?
I actually took it Arizona Auto Wash, right over there by the Pavillions. When I had my Lightning, I made it up to the Pavillions once or twice, but that was 10 years or more ago. I'll still be here Saturday, but don't know if I'll make it out there or not. Thanks.
I didn't do it all today, but over the past couple of weeks.
Changed black OTS to white with red, added tow hook.
Wrapped calipers.
Custom fit shallow mount subwoofer in spare tire well.
Well results were fairly disappointing. After a couple of days at the shop, the net result is an approximate 15 HP increase. I don't have those after sheets, and have questions myself to resolve. That's all for now.
It's a little out of the way but Centerline Wraps in Tucson is very good. They did my Audi S5 roof three years ago, and it was still perfect when I sold it. Had my GT350 OTS changed from black to white with red border ala GT350R. They also did my brake calipers. Everything looks factory.
Hey all,
I live in Sierra Vista, but will be staying at the Westgate Resort in Mesa from 25 Dec - 1 Jan. Anyone know a good detail place that does hand washing? Also, I'm there just for relaxation and always up for meeting new folks:cheers:
Geno
We got a late start last night, all we were able to get was the first two baseline pulls. We left it on the dyno and didn't get a chance to get back to it today. Tomorrow we should hit it with the CAI and tune. Here's the sheet from yesterday and a couple of gratiuitous pics.
